IIT Madras offers Data Science Courses at affordable costs, here's how to apply

The five-month course is available at an extremely affordable price i.e. Rs 1000 for the students and faculty members. 

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is making data science study affordable for the students. The faculty is offering affordable courses on the subject through their platform ‘PadhAI’. According to the institute, the data science course they are offering is an online self-paced course on the foundations of data science. The course covers the beginner’s level of data science including the mathematical and programming skills needed to understand the subject. The five-month course is available at an extremely affordable price i.e. Rs 1000 only for the students and faculty members of the institute.

Mitesh Khapra, Co-Founder, One Fourth Labs (an IIT Madras incubated Start-up) said that their primary goal is to provide every student belonging to engineering, science, or commerce disciplines an accessible and foundational understanding of data science through PadhAI. With a unified series of courses, they aim to bridge the gap between data science and other advanced and popular machine learning and deep learning topics.

IIM Madras believes that the market is splurging with demands for trained data scientists across popular industries like financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, IT, and education.
