JEE Main 2020 Latest Notification: Discrepancy in Exam Date

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main admit card on December 6, 2019 for the eligible candidates. The admit card can be downloaded by using the application number & password or application number & date of birth. Candidates who have filled more than one application form, their admit card has been withheld and they are required to contact the officials. NTA has also released a public notice related to the admit card of January, JEE Main 2020. There is an error in the JEE Main exam date mentioned in the latest public notice released by NTA. 

Discrepancy in JEE Main Latest Notification

In the latest notification released by NTA on December 6, 2019 the examination date is mentioned as January 6, 2020 to January 9, 2020, which is a mistake.

 As per the JEE Main information brochure which was released in September 2019, JEE Main is scheduled to be held from January 6, 2020 to January 11, 2020. The examination will be conducted in online mode in two shifts. The timing of the first shift examination is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the timing of the second shift examination is from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

NTA is going to conduct JEE Main 2020 exam in 233 cities throughout the country and abroad. Candidates who have filled the JEE Main application form can only sit for the exam along with their admit card. In case any applicant is not able to download his/her Admit card, he/she may send an email to jeemain-nta@gov.in. NTA will not share the admit card by post with any candidate.
