JEE Main 2020: National Test Abhyas App is now available on Android Platform

NTA launches the National Abhyaas app to help students in their JEE Main 2020 preparation. Read below to know more.

The National Test Agency (NTA) has launched a mobile app called National Abhyaas for aspirants preparing for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2020 and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020. The app would aid students to prepare for these exams efficiently and is available on android and soon on iOS platform.

The Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the launch by tweeting about it. He said that in the National Abhyaas application, one full question paper (of three hours) will be available each day, for both JEE Main and NEET.

Students can take the test anytime as per their convenience, get immediate scores, correct answers with explanations, and analyse the time spent on different sections," he added. The minister also said that the application was created by the NTA after receiving multiple requests from students.

JEE Main 2020 was extended from its deadline of filling the application for the test due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country. The exam is conducted twice in a year for admission to BTech programmes offered at various engineering institutes in the country while NEET is conducted once in a year for admission to undergraduate medical courses.

About 1.6 million students have registered for NEET 2020 and over 9 lakh students have registered for JEE Main 2020.

The National Testing Agency has also reopened the JEE Main application forms for students interested in applying for the exam from May 19-24, 2020.  The facility for correction in the application form and choice of test centres in the online application form for JEE Main 2020 will be available from May 25 to 31. Corrections in the particulars of the online form will be accepted till 5 pm and submission of fee up to 11.50 pm on May 31. The JEE Main 2020 examination will be held between July 18 and 23, 2020.
