Students’ Speak: Don't fear failure, face the failure

Failure is in your mind, failure is in your thoughts only. So change your mindset, you can change your life. Let me tell you about my experiences now.

Failure is a word which makes a number of students and people fear. A word which itself is a horror. Most people never understand the hidden meaning of failure. I don't know what is it, either a myth or a mindset that failure person can never do anything in life. People probably fear that once they fail, they will never stand on their own feet confidently.

Let me clear one thing to everyone, there is nothing like a failure in anyone's life. It's just the negative reflection of success, it's just the learning of your previous work or attempt in which you did not get 100% of your expected result. Let's take a simple example.

When you prepare for an examination, you practice well throughout the year, study 12-16 hours a day and performed excellent in each test. Unfortunately, you fail to clear that exam (I will not say fail, you did not clear the cutoff marks for that particular examination). But still, you will get a chance to reappear for the examination, you will get the college after competitive exams, you can again try for one more time.

So? Where is the failure?

Failure is in your mind, failure is in your thoughts only. So change your mindset, you can change your life. Let me tell you about my experiences now.

I am currently working as a sales operations specialist in an organisation based out of Pune, Maharashtra. This wasn't my campus placement. My placement was in BYJU’s the Learning app as a business development associate. But, I didn’t get the placement so easily or at first attempt only.

When campus placement started, I used to appear for every interview process because eventually you are supposed to get a job in an MNC after graduation. I tried my best in almost 70 campus placement companies, out of which I got rejected in 50 companies in the first round only, reached the second round in 10 companies, final round for 9 companies and then got placement at BYJU’s for 10 LPA package. Finally, I got the highest package of my college after facing rejections in 69 companies.

I hope you all understand to not fear failure but face the failure. Always learn from past mistakes. When you start doubting yourself, you will always fail to give your 100 per cent. Try, try and try and one day you will get what you want because it’s not your fear but your confidence and belief in you which will lead you to achieve your desired things. It's good to fail, it’s good to be rejected because when you don't fail, you won't enjoy the taste of success. Don't take life so seriously, you won't get success overnight. Keep pushing yourself, come out of your comfort zone, break your boundaries and you will be UNSTOPPABLE.

You only have one thing in life TRY". Don't fear failure, face the failure. You have a long life to live. When one door closes another opens. You will get what you want soon. Learn to wait also.
