CTET Application Form 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) invited the application form for the 20th edition of the CTET exam from September 17, 2024 to October 16, 2024. Candidates needed to submit the CTET application form 2024 within the stipulated time to appear for the exam. The CTET application fee 2024 needed to be paid along with the online form. How to fill CTET Application Form 2024?
Aspirants need to follow the below-mentioned steps to successfully register for the CTET exam.
Step 1: Register for CTET 2024 Exam
To register, candidates need to visit the official website of the exam (ctet.nic.in) and click on the link available for the application form. Thereafter, candidates need to click on the Apply button under the New Candidate Registration header. Candidates need to read and download the information brochure carefully and click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page. Next, candidates need to click on 'Click Here to Proceed'. On clicking the button, CTET registration form 2024 will open on the screen. In the online form, candidates need to fill in the below-mentioned details.

Once all the information in the registration form is filled in, candidates need to verify all details entered and click on the checkboxes at the end of the page. Thereafter, click on the Final Submit button. Note down the system-generated application number and retain it for future use.
Step 2: Fill CTET Online Form 2024
To proceed towards filling the application form, click on the Complete Application Form button and fill in all the remaining details in the online form. Information that candidates need to provide in their application form for the CTET exam needs to be the same as mentioned by them in their Class 10 board exam.

Once all details are filled in, enter the security pin displayed on the screen and click on the Submit button. Verify all details entered carefully and click on the checkboxes at the end of the page. Thereafter, click on the Final Submit button.
Step 3: Upload CTET Documents
Next, aspirants need to upload scanned images of their latest photograph and signature in JPG format as per the below-mentioned specifications.

Once uploaded, enter the security pin and click on the checkbox at the end of the page. Thereafter, click on the Upload button.
Step 4: Pay CTET Application Fee 2024
Next, candidates need to proceed toward the CTET 2024 application fee payment. For the same, click on the Pay Examination Fee button. Choose the payment option (online/real-time e-challan) and click on the Proceed button. Pay the prescribed fee through the selected mode of payment. It may be noted that candidates can pay the CTET application fee by means of e-challan in Syndicate Bank/Canara Bank or by means of credit card/debit card/net banking. Candidates could make corrections to their already submitted application form by following the steps mentioned below.
- Visit the official website of the exam
- Click on the link available for the CTET application form correction
- Enter the application number, password and security pin (as shown in the image)
- Click on the Sign In button
- Click on the application form correction button
- Read the instructions on the page and click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page
- Click on the Proceed for Correction button
- Make the required changes in the application form
- Enter the security pin and click on Submit
- Review the application form
- Click on the checkboxes at the bottom of the page

CTET Application Form Correction: Important Points to Note
- CTET application correction is a one-time facility. Therefore, candidates are advised to check all details in the CTET online form carefully.
- The application correction is allowed for only those candidates who have completed all the steps of the CTET registration process and paid the application fee.
- Candidates can make corrections in all the particulars of the application form except images
- After making the necessary correction, candidates should take a printout of the revised CTET confirmation page
CTET Exam Centres 2024
While submitting the CTET online form, candidates are required to make choices of the CTET exam centres 2024. Candidates need to select four CTET exam centres in order of preference while submitting their applications.
What to do if CTET Confirmation Page does not generate?
After the successful payment of the CTET application fee, a confirmation page is generated. The CTET confirmation page works as proof of payment of the application fee. Therefore, candidates need to retain the confirmation page for their records and future reference. However, in case, the CTET confirmation page does not generate after the payment of the application fee, the candidate must contact the Deputy Secretary of the Exam.
Candidates can contact the CTET Deputy Secretary, CBSE between 10:00 AM-5:00 PM along with proof of payment of the fee. Candidates paying the fee through e-challan can show a copy of the same. Candidates can contact the CTET Deputy Secretary at the address shared below.
