The total marks for RBI Assistant prelims exam are 100 while it is 200 for the Mains exam. There is no weightage for Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Candidates must be able to speak, write and understand the local language of the state they have applied for. According to RBI Assistant marking scheme, for correct answers, candidates score one mark. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. The admit card is released one week before the exam To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. RBI Assistant prelims exam is conducted in four shifts while the Mains exam is held in two shifts. The shift 1 of prelims exam is held from 09:00 am-10:00 am while shift 2 is held from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. The Shift 3 exam is held from 02:00 pm-03:00 pm while Shift 4 is held from 04:30 pm-05:30 pm. RBI Assistant prelims exam is held for one hour while the Mains exam is held for 135 minutes. Each section of the prelims exam is held for 20 minutes. In the Mains exam, Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language and Test of Numerical Ability are held for 30 minutes. The sectional timing for Test of General Awareness is 25 minutes. In RBI Assistant there is no interview. However, candidates qualifying the Mains exam are required to appear for Language Proficiency Test (LPT). RBI Assistant application fee is INR 450 for OBC/General/EWS candidates, while it is INR 50 for SC/ST/PWD/EXS. The application fee of RBI Assistant can be paid online by using debit card/credit card, net banking, mobile wallets, etc. The application fee once paid by candidates will not be refunded by the examination authority.
