IGNOU OPENMAT result for admission under January 2022 session will not release. IGNOU is offering direct MBA admissions this year. Therefore, no entrance test is conducted. Candidates completing the IGNOU MBA registration before the deadline will get enrolled in the varsity. Earlier, the NTA, on behalf of the university, conducted the OPENMAT exam for MBA admission. The scorecard for the IGNOU OPENMAT exam back then was released by NTA. Alternatively, candidates were able to check the result at the official website of IGNOU.

Moving forward, IGNOU might not continue to offer direct MBA admissions and continue with the OPENMAT exam for MBA admission. If the exam is conducted for the upcoming sessions, the IGNOU OPENMAT result shall release within two months of the exam date.

How to Check IGNOU OPENMAT Results 2022?

This year, IGNOU is offering direct admissions. That is to say, eligible candidates who complete the registration before the deadline are enrolled in the course. When the exam was conducted, candidates had to follow the steps mentioned below to check the results:

1st Step: Visit the official website of IGNOU OPENMAT

2nd Step: Click on the link ‘IGNOU MBA Score Card’

3rd Step: Candidates need to enter their OPENMAT application number, i.e. 10-digit alphanumeric enrolment number

4th Step: Click on the 'Submit' tab to view the IGNOU OPENMAT result

What after IGNOU OPENMAT Results?

Candidates who use to qualify the OPENMAT exam as per the cut off marks had to download the admission form (Form no. 2 in the prospectus) followed by filling and submission of the same along with the following documents:

  1. Education qualification document including Class 10th mark sheet, certificates, Class 12th mark sheets and certificates

  2. Graduation degree mark sheet and certificates

  3. OPENMAT scorecard

  4. OPENMAT application form (along with confirmation copy)
  5. OPENMAT Admission Form (Form no. 2) with a recent photograph

  6. OPENMAT admit card

  7. Work Experience certificate by employers (if required)

  8. Reserved category certificates if belonging to SC/ST/OBC category

  9. Identity card (duly filled up)

  10. Demand Draft of course fee Rs. 1,800 drawn in favour of 'IGNOU' and to be payable at the city where the regional centre is located

All these documents should be submitted in the correct manner before the last date of admission. The final admission will be based on OPENMAT cut off, course eligibility criteria as mentioned by IGNOU.
