Candidates who want to pursue PhD at Reva University must appear for the REVA PET, which is conducted annually. The criteria for the candidate include a master’s degree with a good academic record from a recognised university/institute. The minimum qualifying percentage is 55% for the OBC and General category and 50% for the SC/ST category candidates.

Candidates who want to apply for the REVA PET exam must meet the university's eligibility criteria, which are as follows -

• The applicant must have a master’s or professional degree with at least 55% marks (for general and OBC students). A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks applies to category candidates. 
• Candidates with a four-year degree programme must have secured a minimum qualifying percentage of 70% or an equivalent grade on the UGC-7 point scale. 
• Candidates with qualified UGC-NET (JRF/SRF)/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE scores are also eligible for REVA PhD University admissions. These applicants are exempted from appearing on the REVA PET 2025 entrance test. 
• They should have cleared the MPhil coursework with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' on the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade on a point scale) and completed the MPhil Degree.
• For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) /differently abled and other categories, a 5% mark relaxation, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent grade relaxation is allowed.

The university will release the REVA PET 2025 application form in the first week of June 2025 (tentative). The application form will be available online and offline. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the REVA PET admission form by providing their personal and educational details. The REVA PET registration form comprises registration, filling out the details, uploading the documents, and paying the application form fees. Candidates must keep a copy of the application form for further selection process. The REVA PET 2025 application fee is INR 1000 and can be paid through Demand Draft (DD) or NEFT (National Electronics Funds Transfer).

The conducting body will release the REVA PET 2025 exam pattern on the official website. The exam pattern covers essential factors, such as the duration of the question paper, exam mode, marking scheme, etc. Candidates can check the REVA PhD 2025 exam scheme below -

• The REVA PET 2025 question paper is divided into Part I (subject-specific) and Part II (research methodology). 
• The mode of the exam is offline and online. 
• The total mark of the examination is 100, with a three-hour duration. 
• Parts I and II of the paper consist of objective and descriptive questions, each carrying 50 marks.
• There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Part I paper (Subject-specific) - 50 marks

• Objective questions - 30 questions X 1 mark = 30 marks
• Descriptive questions - 4 questions X 5 marks = 20 marks

Part II paper (Research methodology)

• Objective questions - 10 questions X 1 mark = 10 marks
• Descriptive questions - 5 questions X 4 marks = 20 marks

REVA University will release the REVA PET 2025 admit card a few days before the examination. Registered candidates can download the admit card from the official website. The hall ticket contains details about the exam and the applicant. To download the REVA PET hall ticket, candidates must provide their user ID and password. After downloading the admit card, candidates must tally all the details mentioned. In case there is any error, candidates must immediately contact the authorities and get it rectified as soon as possible.
