Q:   Is TSTET syllabus same for Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam?

No, the TSTET syllabus is not the same for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The syllabus for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is different, as the exam is designed to test the eligibility of candidates for teaching different classes.

Paper 1 is for candidates who intend to teach classes I to V, while Paper 2 is for candidates who intend to teach classes VI to VIII. The syllabus for Paper 1 includes topics such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Telugu/Kannada/Urdu), Language II (English), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

On the other hand, the syllabus for Paper 2 includes topics such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Telugu/Kannada/Urdu), Language II (English), Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies.

While the syllabus for both papers includes some common topics such as Child Development and Pedagogy, the other topics are different. Q:   What is the duration of the TSTET exam?

A:

The duration of the TSTET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Each paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and each question carries one mark. Candidates are required to attempt all the questions within the given duration of the exam.

The TSTET exam is conducted by the Department of School Education, Telangana, to select eligible candidates for teaching jobs in schools in Telangana. TS TET Exam Pattern 2024

The candidates who are willing to fill out the application form for the TSTET exam must go through the exam pattern. The TSTET Exam Pattern is divided into parts- Paper 1 exam pattern and Paper 2 exam pattern.
