This year, the average package went down due to demonetization but I expect better placements this year based on internships.

Satisfied with the college and would definitely recommend joining.
Placements: Almost 95% of students were placed in the previous batch, the highest package being 70 Lacs and the lowest being 7 Lacs p.a. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, ITC, Arcesium, Crisil, and much more. The same set of companies came for internship along tier two companies.
Infrastructure: Great hostel and college infrastructure. Being a female, the girls hostel is like a five star hotel with attached washrooms and a balcony with AC, the rooms are triple sharing and double sharing occupancy. The food at the mess is above average and they give us a variety of items every day. College infrastructure is said to be one of the finest in Gujarat.
Faculty: The faculty at IMNU is very helpful and approachable and is very well qualified. They're very experienced in their areas and bring a mix of theory and practical aspects to the table. The course is prepared in such a way that it integrates all the study areas and helps in holistic development. The pass percentage is around 70% as the semester exams are very difficult to score.

A college with beautiful lush green campus, good placements of our batch and great faculty members.
Placements: Our college had 100% placements this year. The lowest salary package offered is around 6 LPA - 7 LPA and the highest salary package offered is around 21 LPA - 22 LPA. ZS, Brain, Infosys, Searce, AXIS bank, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Around 95% of students got internships in many different companies. Marketing, finance, investment banking, etc., are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IMNU is great. All the classrooms have great seating capacity and it is a beautiful lush green campus. It has a library, labs, Wi-Fi facility, etc. As of now, there are 3 hostels in IMNU with good infrastructure. Mess is also available and it provides good quality food. The sports facility at IMNU is superb. It has almost all kinds of sports.
Faculty: Faculty members of Nirma University are good, helpful, and enough qualified. Sometimes, we get guest lectures from top industry experts and faculty members from colleges like IIM. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that we get both theory and practical exposure. Exams are pretty decent according to the syllabus. There is a 50% passing percentage criteria at IMNU.
Other: There are many clubs and committees at IMNU. Being a part of them gives you huge practical exposure of how events can be conducted and how you can handle multiple things together. They teach you team work.

Nirma University Review - A decent experience.
Placements: 100% of students were placed in my college. The highest package offered is of 30LPA and the lowest is 8LPA. Top recruiting companies in my college are JP Morgan Case and Co., Morgan Stanley, TATA AIG, ICICI Bank and Infosys. Last year, 100% of the students got internships from the top recruiting companies mentioned before. Top roles offered in the course is of Financial Analyst and Marketing Analyst.
Infrastructure: The Wi-fi facility is available across the campus 24/7. All the rooms in the hostel, college classrooms, labs and library are fully air-conditioned. The infrastructure of the whole campus is decent and lush green. The quality of food in the mess is okay and at the canteens it is fairly good for the price. Nirma Health Centre provides basic medical and ambulance facilities for the students with one doctor always available on campus. For sports, basketball ground, cricket ground and badminton courts are available, and for the games, indoor table tennis, chess and carrom boards are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and were very helpful during the entire semester. The teaching quality is very professional and extremely insightful through real-life example sharing by them. The curriculum is highly relevant and obviously makes the student industry ready by not only providing theoretical knowledge but also helping in gaining other useful skills including time management and team management. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate and the passing percentage of the batch is approximately 98%, hardly students get a back year.
Other: I chose this course because it provides hands on knowledge about relevant industrial concepts prevailing in the country which makes you corporate ready. The best thing about the course is that it makes the students gain knowledge about every relevant department of the business right from the basics. The things I would wish to improve about the course is its less practical exposure to the corporate world while learning, and more focus on the exams. The crowd during the events and fests on campus is fairly excellent. There are 27 clubs and committees in the college which organise various extracurricular activities throughout the year.

Good college to build a career, but not a good hostel experience.
Placements: 100% placement has been reported. The highest package offered was 26 Lacs PA, the lowest was around 6 Lacs PA and the average is around 10.5 Lacs PA. Top recruiters - Infosys, HDFC, ICICI, ADP, Axis Bank, etc. About 80% got summer internships through college. Top roles - Analysts, Marketing head, Management trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good with a beautiful campus. The current hostel is decent but new hostels are being made which are even better. The classrooms are equipped with all necessary equipments like Wi-Fi, AC, Screens, etc. The food is of decent quality. The sports facilities are very good with tennis, basketball, cricket and gym among other sports.
Faculty: The professors are very knowledgeable and very supportive for the most part. Some of them are not very helpful but others are very supportive. Many of the professors will go out of their way and teach you subjects outside the scope of the subjects if you show real interest.
Other: The campus life is not good. The hostel has very strict rules and students are constantly under pressure. For MBA students, we are treated as school kids with very little independence.

Good ROI with good placements.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my senior batch are around 90%. The highest package was 12 Lpa, average is 9 lpa and the lowest is 7 Lpa. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Aether, Mahindra, etc. 90% students got internship in companies such as JP Morgan, Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top class and there are numerous auditoriums. The library is vast, filled with amazing research books. There is Wi-Fi facility throughout the college. There are numerous sports courts and the canteen and mess provide good food. Medical facilities are also easily available to the students.
Faculty: The teachers are highly knowledgeable and most of them are helpful. Teaching quality is also on par with the industry standards. This course has a curriculum that is industry relevant and it is highly useful for the students. The semester exams are pretty difficult and one has to prepare well in hand if they have to pass with good marks. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the course as it would help me to accelerate my career in management field. This course prepares everyone to become good managers in the future. I would make the course more relevant to international business standards as well. The extracurricular and co-curricular activities of the college are amazing and there is always an event going in the campus.

Students also asked

Q:   What is the difference between CAT score and CAT percentile?

A:

CAT score is the total marks a candidate receives out of the maximum marks, calculated by subtracting the marks of incorrect answers from the marks of correct answers. For every correct answer, +3 is given to the candidates, for every incorrect -1 is deducted from the overall score. Apart from this, a candidate's rank is calculated by normalizing the scores of all candidates and placing them on a common scale based on the difficulty and attempts of the candidates. It is important to understand the difference between CAT score and CAT percentile because IIMs and all MBA colleges in India select candidates on the basis of their CAT and other MBA related exam percentiles and not score.

The CAT percentile is referred to as the rank of a candidate against the rest of the test takers. The percentile indicates the total percentage of candidates who scored less than or equal to a particular candidate in CAT.

Suppose,1,000 people take an exam and you bag the top rank, which means 999 candidates scored less than you. Then your CAT percentile will be 999/1000*100 = 99.9.

Q:   Is BBA at Institute of Management a good choice?

A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Infrastructure: The Institute of Management has a good infrastructure, with modern classrooms, libraries, and sports facilities. Hostel facilities are available for PG students, but not for BBA students.

Teaching: Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, with a mix of traditional and innovative teaching approaches. Some students appreciated the emphasis on practical learning, while others found the curriculum lacking in certain areas.

Placement: While the placement record for BBA students is not explicitly stated, the institute claims to have 100% placement rates for MBA students. The average salary package for MBA students is around INR12 LPA, with the highest package reaching INR30 LPA.

Curriculum: The BBA programme seems to offer a balanced blend of theoretical and practical knowledge, with courses covering various aspects of management. However, some students felt that the curriculum could be more focused on emerging trends and technologies.

Campus Life: The campus is lively, with frequent events and fests organized throughout the year. Students appreciate the social atmosphere and extracurricular activities.

In conclusion, while the BBA programme at Institute of Management has its strengths, such as a good infrastructure and supportive faculty, there are areas for improvement, including the placement record and curriculum relevance. Ultimately, whether or not the programme is "good" depends on individual preferences and priorities.
