Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) offered by the Oberoi Group is a three year duration programme. As part of STEP, candidates are offered practical training at one of The Oberoi Group of hotels.

Candidates who are shortlisted for Oberoi STEP are trained in a hotel’s core operational departments – Front Office, Food and Beverage Service, Housekeeping and Kitchen.   

Candidates who secure admission in STEP programmes are regularly reviewed by means of written as well as practical assessments. Apart from this, “Appraisals will be conducted to support the development of appropriate attitude and behaviour. A transcript of achievement is issued at the end of each year”, informs the official website.

Oberoi Centre for Learning & Development offers two programmes to aspirants which are:

The Kitchen Operations Programme

In this course, candidates are offered training in Western as well as Indian kitchens. Apart from this, aspirants are also trained in specialty streams of kitchen operations such as bakery, pastry making and cold kitchen.

The Hotel Operations Programme

This course is further divided into two streams, which are:

• Front Office/Food and Beverage Service focus
• Housekeeping focus

STEP 1 – Fill Oberoi STEP 2017 application form

Every year in the month of February, aspirants are provided an online application form which they need to fill and submit online as part of Oberoi STEP admission process.

In the application form, candidates need to fill their educational as well as contact details.

STEP 2 – Select the venue & date for Oberoi STEP selection process

While filling the Oberoi STEP application form, candidates need to select the city as well as the time and date when they want to appear for Oberoi interview rounds.

STEP 3 – Print and submit Oberoi STEP application form

Candidates need to take a printout of their duly filled application form for Oberoi STEP programme 2017. Aspirants need to bring this form along with a passport size photograph when they appear for the Oberoi STEP interview round.
