Dibrugarh University to conduct DURAT for PhD and MPhil courses on December 19

The Dibrugarh University will conduct the Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) for admission to MPhil and PhD courses on December 19, 2020. The application forms are available online on the official website of the varsity and students who are interested in admission to PhD/MPhil courses, can apply straight away as the last date to apply is till November 27, 2020. Candidates also need to meet the eligibility criteria as ineligible candidate’s applications will be rejected.

The candidate should have secured a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point in their Master’s degree in order to apply for admission through DURAT. A relaxation of 5% marks is allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and differently-abled category. The courses offered in PhD and MPhil are as follows:

How to Apply for DURAT

Candidates can go through the following official website of Dibrugarh University.

Step 1: The candidate will first have to visit the official website of Dibrugarh University.

Step 2: On the homepage, the candidate will have to click on 'DURAT 2020' which will be available on the notice column.

Step 3: The candidate will be directed to a new page on the website. From there, they will have to click on the link for the online application portal.

Step 4: The candidate will be directed to a new page, where they will have to read the instructions and details before applying online.

Step 5: Proceed to register online by entering basic details online.

Step 6: Fill up the form by entering personal and academic details.

Step 7: Upload the passport size photograph and the signature according to the size and dimensions.

Step 8: Once all the details are entered, the candidate has to proceed to pay the application form through online mode i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card.
