AUAT 2025 Counselling - Aliah University will carry out the AUAT 2025 counselling once the results for the entrance exam are declared. The AUAT 2025 counselling process will involve document verification and seat allotment of the candidates who have taken and passed AUAT 2025. Once the allotment lists are prepared and published on Aliah University's website, candidates will be required to make payment of the admission fees. The AUAT counselling process is conducted online. In order to make a payment, the candidates will be required to log in to their account on the website where the payment link will be available. Q:   When will the AUAT counselling process start?

A:

AUAT counselling process will be conducted after the AUAT result. Most likely in August 2025. Once the allotment list for various undergraduate courses are released by the Aliah University (AU), candidates will be needed to make payment of the admission fees. Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) counselling process will be held at the official website of Aliah University- aliah.ac.in.

How to Register for AUAT E-Counselling 2025?

To participate in the online counselling, the candidate will have to follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: The candidate will first have to register themselves in the University counselling portal by paying a registration fee through online mode – Net banking/credit card/debit card.

Step 2: Once the candidate has successfully registered, the aspirant will be offered to put their preference of subjects accordingly.

Step 3: The online system will assign the candidates to different programmes according to their rank and preferences.

Step 4: After allotment, the candidates will be directed to complete the verification of the original documents and complete the admission process within the time period.

AUAT Counselling 2025 - Things to Remember

Candidates must remember the following points pertaining to the AUAT counselling process. 

  • If a candidate fails to complete the admission process within the stipulated time period, then the seats will be offered to the candidates next in rank.
  • The allotment offered at the online counselling is only a provisional allotment; the candidature of a candidate will be automatically cancelled, if he/she does not satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • There will be a common merit list for all B. Tech programmes and BCA and seats will be allotted according to merit and the candidate’s choice.
  • If a successful candidate fails to register in the counselling portal within the stipulated time, under no circumstances the candidate will be allowed to take part in the admission process.

AUAT 2025 Counselling - Verification of Identity

Qualified candidates will be required to appear in person for counselling as they have to verify their identity and original documents to complete the admission process. The candidates must bring along the following documents at the time of counselling:

Q:   When will the AUAT merit list be displayed?

A:

Once the AUAT 2024 results are declared, merit lists for different programmes will be displayed at the official website of Aliah University. A separate list of candidates will be prepared differently for the Physically Challenged candidates. Candidates’ names which appear on the merit list, will be eligible for admission which will be done through online counselling according to the rank in the merit list.

Q:   What are the eligibility criteria for BSc / Integrated 5 years, BSc (Nursing) (4 years) and BBA?

A:

In order to pursue BSc / Integrated 5 years, candidate should have the relevant subjects and should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60%. For BSc (Nursing) (4 years) course, candidate should have secured a minimum 45% in 10+2 and should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects taken in 10+2 and for BBA, candidates should done 10+2 with the relevant subjects and should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10+2.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for BA and BTech/Integrated 5-years?

A:

In order to pursue BA at Aliah University, candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and should have the relevant subjects and for BA and BTech / Integrated 5 -years candidates should have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have secured a minimum of 60%.

Q:   How can I check the AUAT result?

A:

Candidates who have appeared for the AUAT exam, were supposed to check their results by visiting the official websites of the exam. AUAT result was declared in the form of merit lists. Candidates who have qualified the AUAT exam are supposed to particiapte in the counselling process. Candidates are supposed to check the AUAT 2023 results through the following steps:

  • The candidate has to visit the official website of Alaih University to check the result.
  • On visiting the homepage of Alaih University, the candidate will have to click on the ‘AUAT 2023’ link which will be present at the top of the page.
  • On clicking the link, the candidate will be directed to a new page on the browser, where they will have to click on the link ‘AUAT 2023 Results’.
  • A list will be published on the website where the candidate can identify the course applied for and check the result. For PG and BEd results, the candidate will have to select the course applied for to check the merit list.
  • The candidate has to select the course and click on view.

Q:   What is Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) exam?

The Aliah University Admission Test is held by the Aliah University, Kolkata to provide admission to candidates into various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses offered by the university. AUAT is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper test) and the duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours. Candidates have to register themselves online on the official website of Aliah University to fill out the AUAT application forms.

To prepare for the AUAT exam, candidates need to know and understand the exam pattern, marking scheme, and syllabus well enough to ace the entrance exam. The entrance exam is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B.
