National Law University, Delhi has released a notification for AILET 2020 that has been postponed a number of times due to COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown across the country. As per the notification, AILET 2020 will be held on August 9 in a paper-based mode. However, if the ongoing situation of Coronavirus pandemic continues then the university may consider conducted it in a remotely proctored mode where candidates can take exam on an Artificial Intelligence enabled software. The last date of application for AILET 2020 is June 30 and, the admit card will be issued to all the successful applicants from July 24 onwards.
The official notification for AILET 2020 as released on June 2 by NLU Delhi read:
"Now the AILET 2020 is tentatively scheduled on 9th August 2020 from 10.00 am to 11:30 am. It will be a pen and paper examination. In case of any problem in conducting pen and paper examination, the university will also explore the possibilities of conducting online AI-ENABLED REMOTE-PROCTORED EXAMINATION. In such a case, the candidates will be informed well in advance. The admit card indicating Roll number and Centre of the examination will be available for download on the university website i.e. www.nludelhi.ac.in w.e.f from 24th July 2020"
