NLAT 2020 question paper has been leaked for the re-test exam that was going on from 12:30 to 1:15 pm today. Read here to know more.

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore was conducting NLAT 2020 for the candidates who faced technical issues in attempting the examination on September 12. While NLAT 2020 re-test exam was still underway messages in law aspirants's WhatsApp and Telegram groups started popping up from 12:57 pm onwards with a pdf file of the question paper. According to the test-takers who took the re-test on September 13, the leaked pdf is the actual question paper. However, some candidates claimed that the question paper was shared after the exam was over.

The official notification from NLSIU Bangalore regarding the paper-leak is as under:

On September 14, 2020, the University offered students who complained of technical difficulties the opportunity to appear for an additional slot. The test paper was accessible to candidates only after they logged in to the platform. Thereafter, it appears that some candidates have copied the questions and circulated this on some messaging apps/emails after logging in. While this is a malpractice under the NLAT proctoring guidelines, it does not affect the integrity of the exam as questions were already available to all candidates after login.
Our technology platform tracks and compares every candidate's answer behaviour patterns and hence, any unusual candidate answer behaviour will be identified and result in disqualification. We will continue to investigate this matter with the help of our technical partners and issue further updates if necessary. We reassure candidates and their parents that we will be transparent and ensure examination integrity at all times.

NLAT 2020 facing technical issues, and now a paper-leak is definitely not a success according to the exam experts. Candidates had to take the exam on a short-notice. Moreover, SC has also asked the law school to hold the results until the final court proceedings. NLSIU Bangalore wanted to conduct its own entrance exam so that the admission process could be completed before September ends.
