CLAT Consortium has modified the seat matrix of some NLUs for CLAT 2020. Candidates can now update their reserved category status according to the new matrix. Read to know more. 

The Consortium of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 has changed the seat matrix for Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur, Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna and, Dr B R Ambedkar National Law University (DBRANLU), Sonepat. According to the revised seat matrix, there will be Economically Weaker Section in the seat reservation of UG courses for DNLU and CNLU. For DBRANLU, there will be "Deprived Scheduled Castes of Haryana" in the UG courses seat reservation. 

According to the notification released by CLAT Consortium, "This notification is to bring to the notice of the applicants about the change in seat matrix of some National
Law Universities. Applicants are advised to go through the changes given below and update their reservation categories if they are eligible. NOTE: Students should complete their updates before 20-09-2020 midnight."

Candidates can make changes in their reservation category according to the new seat matrix for the following NLUs: 

Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur

EWS of Madhya Pradesh has been added for UG.

Please note that this category is applicable for students with Madhya Pradesh domicile only.

Chanakya National Law University Patna

EWS of Bihar has been added for UG.

Please note that this category is applicable for students with Bihar domicile only

Dr B R Ambedkar National Law University Sonipat, Haryana

Deprived Scheduled Castes of Haryana has been added for UG.

Please note that this category is applicable for students with Haryana domicile only.
