SLAT 2025 - Symbiosis International University has published the SLAT 2025 Result on December 26, 2024. The SLAT 2025 Result is now avaiable the official website; i.e. slat-test.org. 

The SLAT Exam was conducted on December 13, 2024, and  December 15, 2024. Candidates must note that they need to complete SLAT booking for PI from December 30, 2024, to January 1, 2025. Only candidates who have cleared SLAT 2025 will be able to register for a personal interview.

The four Symbiosis Law Colleges that are offering 5-year LLB courses through SLAT 2025 are The Symbiosis Law School Pune is offering admission to B.A. LL.B (Hons.) and B.B.A LLB (Hons.) through the exam. SLAT Results 2025

The SLAT scorecard is now available on the official website, slat-test.org. The scorecard includes the candidates' marks in the entrance exam. Candidates can check the SLAT result online on the official website by entering their login details, such as SET ID and password.

Candidates who qualify in the SLAT written entrance exam must appear for the Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (WAT) admission round. This is the last and final step of the admission process for Symbiosis Law School. PI-WAT round is conducted at individual SLS campuses. The final merit list contains the names of shortlisted candidates for admission in law programmes offered at SLS.

What is SLAT 2025?

SLAT also known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). It is a common entrance exam for admission in 4 Symbiosis law schools (SLS), which are SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur. The courses in which admission is offered are mentioned below:

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT annually. The exam shall be held in computer-based test mode. The duration of the test is 60 minutes and there are 60 MCQs of 60 marks in the test. Based on the scores of SLAT, candidates are shortlisted by the SLS.

SLAT 2025 Selection Process in Detail

SLAT

To get admission to one of the 5-year LLB courses offered by a Symbiosis Law School, you first need to take the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). There are no minimum qualifying marks for SLAT. But candidates need to make their place on the SLAT merit list for admission. 

The SLAT merit list is prepared based on marks obtained by candidates. Considering their marks, ranks are allotted to them. These ranks are arranged in an ascending order (from highest rank to lowest rank) to create SLAT merit lists. 

SLAT PI 

SLAT PI is somewhat similar to a "Statement of Purpose" (SOP). But candidates are required to answer questions in this round verbally. SLAT PI can be conducted online or offline. The mode of this interview round depends on the notification provided by the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) authority.

SLAT Counselling 2025

All the qualified candidates who have successfully cleared SLAT 2025 will then have to participate in the counselling process. The steps to participate in SLAT counselling 2025 have been mentioned below: 

  • Counselling registration and fee - Candidates have to visit the official websites of SLS colleges and check the counselling schedule and process. They have to register in online mode from the official website only. Candidates registering successfully are issued call letters to appear for PI-WAT rounds. 
  • Appearing for PI-WAT - Candidates have to appear for PI -WAT rounds where a panel of judges tests candidates based on general awareness, legal knowledge and other relevant topics. 
  • Merit list and selection rounds - On the basis of SLAT scores, PI scores and WAT scores, each institute prepares its own merit list and, the shortlisted candidates have to secure a seat by paying the admission fee and completing other formalities. 
  • Confirming seats - Once the merit lists are released and candidates find their names on these lists, they will have to visit the office of the SLS for which they were selected for admission. Then, they will have to verify the required documents and submit the admission fee to confirm their seat for the course they prefer.

Candidates who get shortlisted based on SLAT scores are then called for PI T. Candidates have to check the respective institute website for information and dates of PI.

Category-wise cut off for Merit List and Wait List will be displayed on the website of the respective institutes based on total scores of SLAT and PI. The waitlist movement will depend upon the vacant seats available.

SLAT Admit Card 2025

Symbiosis International University (SIU) released the SLAT 2025 admit card online on December 3, 2024, through the candidates' respective logins at slat-test.org. Candidates must download the admit card and bring it to the assigned exam center to gain entry.

To access and download the SLAT 2025 admit card, candidates need to log in using their SLAT ID or email ID and password. The admit card will include essential details such as the address of the allotted exam center, reporting time, exam date, and important instructions to follow on the exam day.

With the SLAT 2025 admit card, candidates have to carry the below-given items:

  • Valid original Photo Identity proof (passport/driving license/voter id card/PAN card/aadhaar card/college id card)

After downloading the admit card:

  • Take a coloured print of the admit card. Black and White printout is not accepted.
  • Ensure that the latest passport size, colour photograph is pasted on the admit card at the place provided. The photograph should not be more than 3 months old).

SLAT Eligibility Criteria 2025

The SLAT 2025 eligibility criteria has been explained below:

  • Qualifying Exam: Class (10+2) completed from any recognised state or national exam boards.
  • Minimum Marks in Qualifying Exam: Minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).

SLAT 2025 Age Limit

There is no age limit for candidates to apply for the SLAT 2025 exam. They only need to fulfil the SLAT 2025 eligibility criteria. All candidates who meet the SLAT eligibility criteria 2025 as mentioned above can take the SLAT 2025 exams for admission to BA LLB, BBA LLB, BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) courses. 

Note: Candidates who appeared in their Class 12 exam or are pursuing Class 12 can also apply for SLAT 2025. But they need their Class 12 results at the time of admission to a 5-year LLB course through SLAT 2025.

The candidates were required to apply for SLAT 2025 in online mode. The SLAT 2025 registration or application process was open until November 22, 2024 at slat-test.org.   2. Click on 'Register'.
  3. Carefully read all the instructions, then click 'Continue' to accept the Terms and Conditions.
  4. Complete the requested details on the displayed page.
  5. Click 'Save & Continue'. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email address you provided.
  6. Enter the OTP and submit.
  7. Upon successful registration, you will receive an email and SMS containing your SLAT ID and password. Use this SLAT ID for all communications related to the SLAT 2025 entrance test and admission process.
  8. Pay the SLAT entrance test registration fee of INR 2250 per test (plus any applicable government taxes), as specified on the Registration Portal. The fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.
  9. Upload a document to apply as a reserved category candidate (if applicable). 
  10. Save and submit the form to complete registration process.

SLAT Admission Process 2025

The admission process of SLAT 2025 includes the following stages:

  1. Apply for SLAT: The application process is online and the candidates apply online at slat-test.org before the last date. 
  2. Appear for SLAT: The registered candidates have to appear for the SLAT exam after they obtain the admit card as issued to them. 
  3. Check SLAT result: SLAT result and scorecard is announced on the official website, candidates can login and check their qualifying status. 
  4. Appear for PI and WAT: Based on the SLAT score, candidates are shortlisted for WAT-PI rounds. Please check the respective Institute website for information and dates of WAT-PI.
