HP-NLET Result 2019: Check Scorecard & Rank List Here

HPNLU declares the result for BA/BBA LLB (Hons), LLM & PhD course admissions 2019 on its official website. Aspirants can check their HPNET exam by clicking on “HPNLET 2019 Result tab”. HP NLU results contains separate lists with names of aspirants shortlisted for admission through HP-NET 2019. The national law university has declared All India Rank list and All HP State List. Under these, separate merit lists have been declared for students under different categories such as General, Defence Personnel (DP), Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Scheduled Caste (ST) and Scheduled tribes (ST).

Candidates can secure admission in BA LLB/BBA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD courses offered at HP NLU if they secure a spot in HP-NLET merit list and fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as specified by the national law university. The official website of HP-NET 2019 informs that aspirants meet the eligibility criteria for HPNLET exam if:

1. They secure 60 marks or above (General, Persons with Disabilities, Migrants of Jammu and Kashmir)
2. They secure 45 marks or above (SC and ST category)

The result for Himachal Pradesh National Law University Entrance Test (HP-NLET) is declared by Himachal Pradesh NLU in the PDF format. Candidates need to directly click on the HP-NLET 2019 result link and view their result for the law entrance exam. Separate merit lists are released as part of the result for BA/BBA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD courses offered at HPNLU.

HPNLET 2019 result comprises of – Complete Result, All India List and All HP State List. The HPNLET merit list is declared category-wise. The categories for which HPNLET All India List and All HP State List are released include:

In a scenario wherein two or more aspirants secure the same rank in HP-NET 2019 then tie-break in such a scenario is done as per the below mentioned criteria:

• Candidate with higher marks in 10+2 or equivalent exam is ranked higher.
• If tie still remains, then candidate with higher marks in Class 10 is ranked higher.
• If tie still remains, then higher age/older candidate is ranked higher.

HPNLET 2018 Toppers

The topper of HP-NET 2018 for UG programmes under All India list is Amrit Singh from Uttar Pradesh. He has a score of 96.75/150 marks in the law entrance exam. Rank 2 and Rank 3 in HPNLET exam are Vijay Kalyan Jha from Uttar Pradesh and Parikshit Singh Bhati from Rajasthan.

HP-NLET 2018 topper for one year LLM course (in All India list) is Mansi from Haryana who has secured 83.25/150 marks. Rank 2 holder in HP-NET LLM exam is Kanchan Yadav from West Bengal and Rank 3 is Priyanka Yadav from Delhi with 80.5 and 74.5 marks respectively.

HP-NLET 2018 topper for PhD course entrance exam (in All India list) is Mehreen Manzoor who has secured 92 marks. Belonging to Jammu & Kashmir, Mehreen was the topper of HPNLET 2017 LLM exam as well. Rank 2 holder in HP-NET PhD exam is Sahil Malhotra from Himachal Pradesh with a score of 91.5 followed by Nidhi Sharma (Rank 3) who is also from Himachal Pradesh with a score of 85.
