Colleges Accepting XIC OET 2018 Scores for Admissions
Aspirants need to appear for XIC OET in order to secure admission in postgraduate level mass communication courses offered at Xavier Institute of Communications.
Admission to Xavier Institute of Communications is provided on the basis of merit determined through OET followed by group discussion and/or personal interview/ Skype video interview round. The Skype video interview (SVI)/ personal interview round is conducted immediately after the completion of the online exam at the same OET centre.
It may be noted that SVI is conducted for candidates applying for Journalism, Advertising, Film & TV, and Communication for Development courses only. Also, SVI is usually not applicable for candidates appearing for XIC OET at Mumbai centre. At this centre, qualifying candidates are called for a LIVE personal interview immediately after the test at the same centre.

As per the officials of Xavier Institute of Communications, there are 60 seats each for Public Relations & Corporate Communication and Advertising & Marketing Communication courses. Also, the institute offers 35 seats for Film, Television & Digital Video Production programme and 55 seats for Journalism & Mass Communication programme.
