IIMC Entrance Exam to be conducted on October 18; last date to apply is September 23

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) will conduct the IIMC Entrance Exam this year and the national-level entrance exam will be conducted on October 18, 2020. Earlier, IIMC had scrapped the IIMC Entrance Exam due to the raging COVID-19 cases in India, however, a revised format has been released online by IIMC and the entrance exam will be conducted for all 8 Postgraduate (PG) Diploma courses offered at the varsity. However, the entrance exam will be conducted in online mode, i.e. Remote Proctored Test (RPT), which means applicants will have to give the entrance exam from their homes.

The IIMC Entrance Exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) this year in online mode. Fresh applications are invited and the last date to apply online for admission is till September 23, 2020. Candidates who have already applied, need not apply again but will have to follow the new rules and guidelines laid out. Candidates who wish to withdraw their application form, will have to send an email along with their Unique Registration Number (URN) and payment details to the official ID of IIMC, latest by September 18, 2020.

How to Apply for IIMC Entrance Exam

Candidates can go through the following steps on how to apply online for the IIMC Entrance Exam which is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).

Step 2: On reaching the homepage of IIMC, the candidate will have to click on the link ‘IIMC Entrance Exam 2020 Application’.

Step 3: On clicking the link, the applicant will have to register themselves by entering basic details such as name, mobile number and email ID.

Step 4: Once registered, the candidate has to apply online and fill details such as personal and academic information.

Step 5: Upload the images according to the dimensions mentioned on the IIMC Entrance Exam application form.

Step 6: Proceed to pay the application fee via online mode i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card.

Step 7: Once the payment is made, the candidate has then successfully applied for the IIMC Entrance Exam.
