The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) Entrance Exam commenced from today onwards i.e. October 10, 2020, and will continue till November 22, 2020. The JMI entrance exam will be conducted for 126 courses which are offered at the varsity and will be conducted in October and November. Candidates who had successfully applied, had to carry their admit card along with their government IDs and had to follow the social distancing norms at all times. Candidates also had to carry wear masks and carry their own transparent hand sanitizers to the allotted centres.
Students from all over India have applied for admission to Jamia Millia Islamia and admission to all courses and programmes is done through the JMI Entrance Exam. The entrance exams will be covered in two shifts at various exam centres on the university campus. The officials inform students that the allotted exam centre will be thoroughly sanitized and candidates are to bring their own water bottle.
The officials also stated that isolation/separate rooms will be made available for students whose temperature will be more than 99.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
The JMI Entrance Exam on October 10, 2020, conducted the exam for MA (Early Childhood Development), MFA in Painting, PG Diploma in Broadcast Technology, BFA Applied Art, MA in Conflict Analysis and Peace Building, MTech in Computational Mathematics and PG Diploma in Urdu Mass Media.
The JMI Entrance Exam admit card will be made available seven days before the entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted. Candidates will have to visit the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia to download the JMI Entrance Exam admit card.
The JMI Entrance Exam 2020 results will be announced differently for all courses. However, there is no set date for the declaration of results. The JMI Entrance Exam results will also be announced online and in the form of merit lists. Candidates who make the merit list, will be called for an interview round or group discussion round.
