XIC OET Test Centres & Eligibility Criteria

Xavier Institute of Communications conducts online entrance tests for admission to its mass communication courses. Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) conducts 13 online entrance tests (OETs) for admission to its different mass communication courses.

Admission to XIC courses such as Journalism & Mass Communication; Public Relations & Corporate Communication; Advertising and Marketing Communication; Film, Television & Digital Video Production; and Communication for Development is provided on the basis of a candidate’s score in XIC OET followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds.

The exam pattern for XIC OET 2017 is such that the online test contains two sections – objective (100 marks) and subjective (50 marks). Candidates need to complete both sections in a duration of 90 minutes. However, before appearing for the exam, aspirants need to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for XIC OET 2017.

XIC OET Eligibility Criteria

All those candidates who have completed their graduation in 12 + 3 years pattern from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the online entrance test at Xavier Institute of Communications.

Candidates appearing for their last semester or third year graduation exams are eligible to apply as well.

Note: If such candidates get admission in Xavier Institute of Communications, on completion of their respective mass communication course they will have to submit their final graduation mark sheet.
