I'm satisfied with my college. The teachers are great but more practical exposure needed.
Placements: Ramaiah College does not have good placements for B.A. students but few of them get placed according to their knowledge but with a low package which is 3 to 4 Lacs per annum. They also provide placement opportunities on the basis of graduate degree not giving importance to specialisation also very few students are placed through this.
Infrastructure: The college has a very average lab, it does provide Wi-Fi. It has a good library whereas for the hostel I'm not sure because I stay at my home. The college does not have good canteen facilities offered for the degree students, the quality of food is okay not too good nor bad and there's always construction happening during classes which is disturbing.
Faculty: The teachers are good enough but they lack in the practical part. They focus more on the theory and it's not their fault it's the curriculum. Teachers are quite smart but not excellent but they are good the department has the smartest HOD who helps the students. The practical exposure is not there but recently they have started a few things and they have set up a journalism lab which wasn't there before.
Other: If more practical implements are added it would make the course much better and more and more projects would give them knowledge whereas the rest part is good. Events are quite good and are conducted with a lot of enthusiasm and teamwork. The department also has started conducting events since this year so that the students get more knowledge.

A good college for pursuing psychology but not for journalism.
Placements: The placements are not that good, they are trying to work on it. Internship opportunities are provided by the faculty members (they refer organizations). They support students by giving them attendance for their internship reports. We get to work as reporters in newspaper organizations.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a proper auditorium to conduct inter/intra college fests. (the construction works are happening though). The canteen facilities are poor for degree students. It is not well maintained. The hostel facilities are also not good.
Faculty: The teachers of B.A. department are really humble and well knowledgeable. The teaching is good in B.A. but they don't give any importance to the practical exposure for journalism because they follow Bangalore university pattern and stick on giving importance to theory.
Other: No extra curricular activities happened in this college.

Activities based learning makes learning easy and fun.
Placements: There are a lot of top companies which recruit students from Ramaiah College of Arts Science and commerce. Many students even got placed this year. The college placement cell is open all the time in the college premises and the appointed person is also very helpful.
Infrastructure: The college library has plenty of books as study materials for all the courses. The library has fiction books available. The canteen provides hygienic food. The college even has Wi-Fi facility on its premises which is actually very helpful for the students.
Faculty: The faculty are very supporting and helpful. The teachers are qualified enough. Their way of presenting the lectures is also very innovative and interesting for the students. We have even activities based learning which makes it easier to grasp the topics.
Other: The campus is very huge and has everything covered.

Proud to be an alumnus of this college.
Placements: The college provides excellent placements. During my final year companies like Ernst and Young, Amazon had approached our campus and given placements to many students with good packages ranging from 1.2 lakhs per annum to 3.2 lakhs per annum. The placement cell was also very helpful and prepared the students on-campus as well as off-campus selection.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure with good classrooms and labs. State of the art facilities and good canteens. There are many canteens in the University campus and they provide a range of cuisine. I didn't stay in the hostel as I was a day scholar. But I heard that the hostels were strict.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing and I had a great time learning from them. They help the students in honing their skills. The teachers would also take us out on field trips and provide us all round development. The classes would be fun and interactive and the student teacher ratio was a very comfortable one.
Other: The crowd is really good and we have annual fests and other fun activities happening in and around the college.
