I am satisfied with the humanities department.
Placements: Placements are only good for commerce, business, computer applications, and science batches. Top companies visit the college and hire students. For psychology, placements are very limited because most of the students go for higher studies. There are no placements for psychology which is very saddening. A few placements are available for journalism.
Infrastructure: We have equipped labs for psychology, which are helpful. However, for the journalism lab, the work is going on. But overall, it's worth it.
Faculty: Faculty members guide students well, so students do not worry about exams. Students need to study for exams. They clear the silliest doubts also, so it is easier to score well. They removed NEP, so it would be triple major. The major combination also changed. For psychology and journalism, there are the best faculty members. They are supportive and interactive.
Other: Our college conducts many activities. I got a merit scholarship for 3 years at UG. Our college provides scholarships. The campus crowd is average. Our college prioritizes extracurricular activities.

It is a good autonomous college.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in MNCs and good companies. The top recruiting companies were Accenture, Axis Bank, Wipro, Amazon, and Cipla. There has been an increase in the number of students applying for placements and receiving fair job roles.
Infrastructure: All facilities were available in our college. The library was decent. Hostels were better. There was a sports complex in our college. A shuttle service was available in our college. The laboratory was better. We had a cafeteria, a reading room, and a lecture hall in this college. All basic amenities were available in our college. The food served in the hostel was good. Our college provided sports.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified. They had knowledge of their respective subjects. They were approachable and friendly. The course curriculum was relevant but could be improved for certain courses according to current demands and updates in various fields. Semester exams were not difficult.
Other: Students won prizes in state-level competitions.

There is no direct placement. After doing your MA psychology, you can move for higher studies. Psychology has good research scope. You can do BA Ed after that, and teach at PGT level in school. Or, you can prepare for government service exam. Regards.

Yes. But, first know about psychology branch and if you choose it as a career option, then there is limited career options in psychology. Good institute is defined by your placements in an organization which specifically deals with behavioral health- physiological and psychological. Good luck.
