Our college provides good faculty members and teaches great content.
Placements: A lot of students who pursued journalism got into top news companies. Others went onto to do further studies in psychology and English. Around 65-70 students were part of the batch. Not sure about the salary package offered. Almost everyone found good internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was well-maintained. The labs had all the latest equipment. The canteen had great and affordable food. The hostel was not that great but not too bad either. There were opportunities to play sports and practice other activities.
Faculty: The course curriculum was up to date and relevant. The curriculum was carefully selected and divided across three years to provide students with the best knowledge. It prepared students to start their career in the field they liked. Additional activities were also planned.

Amount Carmel College, Bangalore .
Placements: As it's a dual major course you get internships and placements in both fields. You get lot of workshops in campus and through that you can find internships too. Students do internships in NIMHANS and other hospital or psychology clinics. In terms of journalism, content writers, marketing managers and social media managers is the most demanded position nowadays .
Infrastructure: Hotels are well maintained with all facilities, warden is there. They have curfew timings. Hostel is spacious and is in campus so you need not worry about the distance. It is usually given on first come first serve so you better hurry. The only this is they give south indian food most of the times so you need to adjust in case your are from other parts of India .
Faculty: All the teachers are very resourceful and helpful. The staff in college is well qualified with their PhDs and are amazing in terms of studies and day to day behaviour. In Semester exams question papers are moderate to hard level but easy to score. Make sure to get good marks in internals for better scores.
Other: More of Practical papers or application based paper will help students in future.

Good college in bad hands because of competent management .
Placements: The placement opportunities for B. C. and B.A. students are generally subpar, with many students receiving minimal offers. Only those who score extremely well and are highly sought after receive good packages. For students in journalism and psychology, the situation is similar. In journalism, roles such as content writers, reporter, and media analyst are available, while psychology graduates might find positions as counselors, research assistants, and HR specialists. However, competitive packages are typically reserved for top performers.
Infrastructure: The hostel is overpriced and has a lot of ragging incidents, plus frequent food poisoning cases. My first year on campus was great since the student council was student-selected, but now, thanks to poor management, that's no longer the case. The clubs and associations are well-run by the students, except for the performing arts groups. They struggle due to the colleges overly strict and outdated rules. The infrastructure is excellent. The canteen food could be better and cheaper. I love the campusu2014it's green, lush and very well maintained.
Faculty: The course curriculum is outdated and needs revision. Many assignments are practical and field-based, but some feel pointless. Most professors just lecture on their topics, making it hard to follow, especially when we have to take notes at the same time. The exams are moderate challenging but generally passable. However, some teachers are strict grades and won't award marks even if the answers are textbook accurate.
Other: I chose MCC because of its stellar reviews as one of the top five arts colleges in India, especially for my course. I'd heard great things about the psychology faculty, and it mostly lived up to the hype. The college offers various scholarships, including sports and academic ones. The festing season is a big deal here, providing students with valuable communication skills and boosting their confidence in areas they might not have explore otherwise.

Journalism does not match expectations, but psychology does.
Placements: The psychology placements are really good; students get offers from big companies with a very good package, but journalism is lacking in this sphere. The faculty is very judgy, and teachers are problematic. The psychology courses offered are the best. The teachers are ready to guide the students with all the necessary information to make them successful in life. Almost all students have been recruited in my course.
Infrastructure: Class rooms and the library are all very well equipped, but the network is not available anywhere on campus, and sports facilities are not open to all but only to athletes with a history in the field. The hostel is inside the campus and is extremely strict; the curfew time is very early. The canteen offers a variety of foods. There are about nine counters, all serving different foods. But the pricing is very high and not reasonable. The quality and hygiene of the food are checked regularly. There is a ground as well, which is near the Vasanth Nagar bus stand and has facilities for volleyball, throw ball, football, handball, and basketball, as well as a gym. But only those who are a part of the team are permitted to use the facilities. It is not seen as a recreational activity.
Faculty: The psychology faculty has the best teachers with good all-around knowledge who are very friendly. The journalism department is not very friendly. The teachers are all very well qualified and helpful. They have good teaching practices and have interactive sessions as well. The journalism department is more practical-oriented and has more field work. We have two CIA exams for 30 marks and one end-of-semester exam for 60 marks. Additionally, we will also have lab work, projects, and assignments. The passing mark is 24 in the end semesters, and CIA has no such thing as a passing mark.
Other: The fests are something to look out for. The campus is always lit up and prepped; fests happen almost every day.
