What is CMAT?

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025

Applicants need to meet the following eligibility criteria for appearing in the CMAT exam 2025:

Candidate must have graduation (in any stream) or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for CMAT 2025.
There is no minimum score percentage criteria in graduation for CMAT exam. Only passing marks is required.
MBA colleges accepting CMAT score may have minimum score criteria of 50 percent and 45 percent.

3. Revision of important topics

CMAT 2025 exam preparation is incomplete until the candidate has a strong hold on every topic included in the syllabus. To have a complete control, you need to constantly revise the topics and processes that you've been studying for solving various types of questions. Thus, keep aside an hour every day for revision of topics that you study on a particular day. In the last 15-20 days before the CMAT 2025 exam, dedicate maximum time on revision of the CMAT syllabus so that everything is fresh in memory on the exam day. CMAT Admit Card 2025

CMAT 2025 admit card will be released at CMAT-NTA website. Candidates will be able to download the CMAT admit card 2025 using their login credentials. Given below is the process to download CMAT admit card 2025 from the NTA website:

Visit the CMAT-NTA website: cmat.nta.nic.in
Click on 'CMAT 2025 Admit Card' tab
Enter application number and date of birth
Click on 'submit' to log in to your account
Fill the self declaration form to go to the admit card page
Download the CMAT admit card 2025 as PDF

CMAT Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the CMAT exam 2025 will have to follow certain guidelines at the examination centre. Exam day guidelines will be mentioned in their CMAT 2025 admit card. Here are some key CMAT exam day instructions:

Candidates will have to carry two print outs of their CMAT 2025 admit card. Digital, scanned or photocopy of the admit card will not be accepted as a valid document.
They will have to reach the CMAT exam centre at the reporting time mentioned in CMAT admit card 2025. The test centre gates will close 15 minutes before the commencement of exam and no entry will be allowed after that.
Candidates will have to carry a black/blue ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet.They will also have to carry two passport size photographs to affix on the CMAT 2025 admit card and attendance sheet.
Electronic items such as phone, wrist watch, pager, calculator, Ipad, etc. will be prohibited at the exam venue.
Candidates must not carry bags or valuables. Nothing apart from the documents and ball pen will be allowed inside the exam centre. There will be no provision to deposit bags at the CMAT test centre.
Along with CMAT 2025 admit card, candidates will have to carry a photo ID as a secondary identity proof, such as:
- Aadhaar card
- PAN card
- Voter ID card
- Passport
- Driver’s license
- College/University ID card
Candidates must carry the original copy of the photo ID proof.
Exam duration is 180 minutes. No candidate will be allowed to leave the test lab during the exam. Exit will be allowed only after the time is up and invigilator announces the exit process.

CMAT Answer Key 2025

CMAT answer key 2025 will be released by the NTA within 10-15 days of the exam. Test takers will be able to download the CMAT 2025 answer key and response sheet from the NTA website by using their login credentials. The CMAT response sheet will contain question wise answers and options selected by the candidate. the document will help candidates in calculating their raw score. Given below is the process to download CMAT answer key 2025:

Click on 'login'
Enter application number and date of birth or password
Click on 'Answer Key' link reflecting on the dashboard
Download the CMAT 2025 answer key

To challenge the official CMAT answer key 2024, candidates will have to fill an online form and furnish supporting document to substantiate their claim. If any objection is found to be valid then the CMAT answer key will be revised. CMAT 2025 result and final answer key will be prepared after analysing the objections received. The CMAT answer key challenge window will remain open for 2-3 days. After that no request regarding objection will be accepted.

CMAT Result 2025

CMAT result 2025 will be released in online mode at NTA-CMAT website. To download the CMAT scorecard, candidates will have to use their login credentials. Given below are the steps to download CMAT scorecard cum result 2025:

Click on 'CMAT-2025 scorecard' tab
Enter your CMAT 2025 login credentials (application number and password or date of birth)
Click on 'Submit' and download the CMAT 2025 result

The CMAT 2025 result cum scorecard will contain candidate's information and their exam scores and percentile. The scorecard will be available for download for a limited period only so CMAT 2025 candidates must download their result as the earliest.

CMAT Admission Process 2025

CMAT admission process includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The CMAT score is accepted by many popular government and private colleges in India. These institutes determine CMAT cut offs for shortlisting candidates. The B-Schools conduct GD/PI individually to select candidates for 2-year full time MBA/PGDM programmes. At many B-Schools, Essay Writing is conducted instead of Group Discussion. To participate in the admission round, CMAT qualifiers should fill the admission forms of their preferred institute on time.

MBA admission through CMAT includes three main processes:

Candidate shortlisting through CMAT score
Essay Writing/GD/PI round
Final selection for MBA/PGDM admission

Aspirants must note that NTA has no role in MBA admission through CMAT.
