CMAT exam centres 2025 - The NTA conducts CMAT exam in computer based test mode in various test centres across India. The CMAT test centres are established in all capital cities and big towns in all states of India. The CMAT 2025 exam centre list was released along with the exam brochure and application form. Candidates while filling the CMAT application form 2025 have to select preferred location for test centre allotment. CMAT 2025 exam centres will be allotted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to candidates in the city of first preference as mentioned in the CMAT 2025 application form. Q: How can I select test cities in CMAT application form for centre allotment?

CMAT test city selection is to be done at the time of application form filling. In the CMAT registration cum application form, there will be field to mark selected cities for test centre allotment. Applicants are given the option to choose four cities from the list of 124 where they want to take the CMAT exam. Given below is the process to follow for selecting CMAT test cities in the application form: 1. Go to the official website of NTA-CMAT 2. Log on with registration ID and password to fill the CMAT application form 3. Fill relevant details in the fields marked for information and move to the test city section 4. Select four cities from the list in order of preference from one to four 5. Make fee payment and submit the CMAT application form.

Q: Can I change my exam centre after the CMAT admit card has been issued?

No. You cannot change the exam centre after the CMAT admit card has been issued. You cannot take the exam at any other centre other than the one mentioned in your admit card, either. So make an informed decision at time of selecting your test city in the CMAT application form. Select only those cities where you can make arrangement of stay on the CMAT exam day. Choose your home city or city of current residence as the first test city. The examination authorities try to allot the test centre to a candidate as per their first preference. However, sometimes if there are not enough number of applicants for a city, the centre may be cancelled there and candidates are allotted a test centre in the next city of preference. If at a particular exam centre in a city has already been filled with candidates, then the remaining students are allotted a test city in the next city of preference.

Q: When can I apply for CMAT?

The next CMAT exam will be held on January 25, 2025. The NTA has started registration process for the same most on November 14, 2024. Those interested in appearing for the exam are required to register for it at CMAT-NTA website and fill the online application form before December 25, 2024. The score of CMAT will be valid for one year only, so if you appear for CMAT 2025, you must take admission in the same academic year.

Apart from 1300 B-schools, the CMAT score is also valid for admission through MAH CET CAP. The Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts MBA/MMS admissions for 300 colleges in the state. It is followed by a common counselling process called CAP. CMAT test takers can also participate in MAH MBA CET CAP and secure a seat in MBA/MMS course offered by over 300 colleges in Maharashtra.

CMAT City Intimation Slip 2025

The CMAT 2025 city intimation slip was released by the NTA, on January 17, 2025 to inform candidates about the city in which they have been alloted the CMAT test centre 2025. Candidates will have to follow the process given below to check the test city allotted to them:

Q: How will I know the address of my CMAT exam centre?

The address of CMAT exam centre will be mentioned in the admit card only, which means candidates will know the address of the CMAT test centre allotted to them only after they download their CMAT admit card. The exam authorities will not share the details of any exam centre before the release of CMAT admit card. The NTA however, releases city intimation slip before the admit card which contains the name of the city in which the test centre has been allotted. The city intimation slip is issued a week before the exam to allow candidates to make arrangements for the exam day. If any student belongs to a rural area and their test centre falls in a city, they can make arrangements beforehand if they know which city they have to go to for appearing in the exam.

How to Select CMAT Test City

Applicants can select up to four cities rom the given list where they want to take the CMAT exam. Check below are the steps to follow for selecting CMAT test cities:

Register for CMAT 2025 on the official website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/
Log on with registration ID and password to fill the application form
Fill relevant details and move to the test city section
Select four cities from the list in order of preference from one to four
Make fee payment and submit the CMAT 2025 form

Important points to remember

Q: How many cities can I choose for allotment of CMAT exam centre?

Candidates can choose up to four cities for allotment of CMAT exam centre in the application form. Candidates must take utmost care in selecting the cities as once the form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will strive to allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates are allotted a test centre in second or third preference only in a situation where the seats have been filled or the exam has been cancelled at that location. Choose cities very carefully as once selected the change can be made only at the time of form correction.

Q: Can I show a digital copy of the CMAT admit card 2024 at the exam centre?

No, you are unable to present a digital duplicate of your CMAT admission card at the testing location. The CMAT admission card must be printed out and brought with the candidate to the testing location. They should bring two printed copies at the very least.
In addition, applicants should present

a photo ID, such as a voter ID card, passport, PAN card, or Aadhaar card

Q: Will I be allowed to enter the CMAT exam centre if I reach after reporting time?

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the CMAT exam centre after 7:30 AM in first slot and after 1:30 PM in second slot. Thus, candidates must ensure they reach their exam centre on time. Candidates cannot change their CMAT exam centre or slot if they are late. They will have to take the test at the allotted CMAT exam centre only which is why, it is important to download the CMAT admit card as soon as it releases. Candidates get ample time to make arrangements for the exam day, if their test centre is far off. CMAT 2023 exam was conducted in two slots - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Reporting time for first slot was 7:00 AM and for second slot, it was 1:00 PM. However, the reporting time will be mentioned in every candidate's admit card. Candidates must also note that they can take the exam only at the centre mentioned on their CMAT admit card. They will not be allowed to enter the exam centre at any other exam venue. Thus, they must check the location of their exam centre before the exam day so that they know the requirements to reach the location on time on the exam day.

Q: Can I edit the CMAT application form after submission?

Once you have submitted the CMAT application form, you cannot edit it. Thus, you will have to fill the CMAT form again by creating a new login ID and paying the fee again. However, if the mistake is in photo, signature or test centre fields, you can correct it at the time of form correction. The CMAT form correction window will be opened for three days after the conclusion of application form submission process. During the form correction period, candidates will be able to edit photo, signature, test city and graduation score fields. Given below is the process to make changes in the CMAT form at the time of form correction: 1. Log on to NTA-CMAT website 2. Click on form correction tab 3. Enter application number and password/DoB 4. Enter security pin and click on submit 5. Go to application form and make changes 6. Click on save and submit the form.

No, you cannot appear for the CMAT exam at any test centre. You can appear for the test at the centre mentioned in your CMAT admit card. Entry at every CMAT test centre is given to candidates only after thorough scrutiny of the hall ticket and ID proof. If you attempt to gain entry in any other test centre, you will be disqualified. Thus, candidates must make sure that they check the location of their allotted test centre beforehand and reach there on exam day on time. If they reach the test centre after the gates have been closed they will not be allowed entry under any circumstances. CMAT test centre gates close 15 minutes before the commencement of exam.

Q: What are the items prohibited at the CMAT exam centre?

No, any electronic item including the watch, mobile phone, ipad, calculator, watch, smartwatch, etc. Is not allowed inside the CMAT examination centre. Any candidate found carrying such an item inside the exam hall will be disqualified. Candidates can check time on the onscreen timer on their computer systems during the CMAT exam. Apart from electronic items, stationary other than a blue/black ball point pen, metal accessories or metal jewellery and eatables are not allowed. Caps & headgear, goggles, hoodies, shirt with pockets, pants with pockets and closed shoes are also not allowed inside the test centre. Any candidate found carrying any such item or pieces of paper will be disqualified from the exam. Don’t wear caps, jackets, clothes with pocket and accessories with metal such as belts, hair clips, jewelry, etc. to the exam centre.

All the key information and instructions mentioned in the CMAT admit card is to be followed by each candidate. To avoid any hassle at the exam centre, candidates must note the following: 1. Do not carry prohibited items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices. 2.
