IIFT 2021 result was announced today and the hundreds of candidates got to know whether they have cleared the first round of IIFT admission or not. The NTA today announced the result of nearly 27,000 candidates who appeared for IIFT 2021 exam on January 24. Candidates can download IIFT 2021 result from the official website using their application number.

Q: What after IIFT result?

A: After the announcement of IIFT result, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade starts shortlisting process of candidates for essay writing, group discussion and personal interview round. The candidates have to fill an online application form to confirm their participation in this round.

Q: What is the selection process of IIFT?

A: The IIFT selection process includes three stages:

  • Shortlisting of candidates on the basis of IIFT exam score
  • Essay writing, group discussion and personal interview
  • Final selection and preparation of merit list
This year, however, group discussion has been scrapped due to COVID-19 pandemic and essay writing has been replaced by extempore. The extempore and personal interview will be conducted online.

Q: What is the admission cut off for 2021 batch?

A: The minimum admission cut off for 2021 batch is 43.5 for General category students, 36 for General-EWS / OBC-NCL and 15 for SC / ST/ PwD / Kashmiri Migrants / Non-Migrants. The final cut offs could be much higher for all categories.

Q: Does NTA release IIFT cut offs?

A: No, the NTA does not release IIFT cut offs. They are determined and released by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi.

Q: When will the GD/PI for IIFT 2021 admissions take place?

A: The GD/PI round for IIFT 2021 admissions will take place from April 19 to May 4. The institute has released the schedule of online extempore and personal interview.
