IIFT admit card 2025 - The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi will issue the IIFT admit card, if it will conduct the entrance test. For the batch of 2024, the institute did not conduct the entrance exam and selected candidates on the basis of CAT scores.
Until 2023 the NTA used to conduct the IIFT entrance exam for admission to MBA courses. The agency would conduct the registration process and exam, as well as issue the IIFT admit cards.

Q: What is the role of NTA in IIFT entrance exam?
The National Testing Agency or the NTA was the official agency for IIFT entrance exam. The NTA has been conducting the IIFT entrance exam on behalf of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trae Delhi since 2019. The NTA’s role in conducting the IIFT exam includes scheduling the exam, registration and application process, release of IIFT admit card, preparation and release of answer key, answer key objection and announcement of result. The syllabus and pattern is prescribed by the institute. NTA conducts the exam in over 60 cities across India in computer based test mode. Its role ends with announcement of the exam result, final answer key and date of number of applicants and test takers. It has no role in IIFT cut off determination or selection process for MBA admission at IIFT. However, since 2024, the IIFT does not conduct the entrance exam.

Problems in Downloading IIFT Admit Card
Candidates may face problems in downloading the IIFT admit card. Listed below are some common technical problems faced by candidates and their solutions:

To get errors on IIFT admit card rectified, the candidate must contact the help-desk of exam conducting body and get the error rectified before the exam day. Candidates must download their IIFT admit card as soon as it is released so that you can get the errors rectified before the exam date in case there is any. The process may take time so you need to be proactive in getting the errors rectified.
Q: How can I download IIFT admit card if I forget my password?
In case you forget your password, you can download the IIFT admit card by resetting your password. The process to change password is simple and can be done through email ID or mobile phone number. Click on ‘Forget Password’ tab on the login page of IIFT-NTA website and follow the instructions to reset your password. An OTP or a link will be shared on email or mobile phone to reset the password. Once the password has been re-set, login and download the IIFT admit card. The new password will be valid for all login purposes related to the IIFT exam going forward.
Q: Will I receive my IIFT admit card by post?
The IIFT admit card is not sent to any candidate by post. It is an online document that can be downloaded from the IIFT-NTA website when it releases. Candidates can log on to the IIFT-NTA website and download their admit cards. The IIFT admit card is available for download until the exam day but it is advised that candidates download it beforehand. The IIFT admit card is a mandatory document so candidates need to carry it on the exam day in the form of a print out. Those not carrying the IIFT admit card will be barred from taking the exam.

Q: I am a PwD category candidate. What documents will I have to submit at the exam hall?
Along with the IIFT admit card and a photo ID, candidates belonging to PwD category will be required to carry PwD certificate and Scribe certificate (if required) issued by a competent authority at the exam centre. If they have any other medical condition, then they will have to present a medical certificate too attested by a government doctor and competent authority. Candidates not carrying the required documents will not be allowed to appear for the exam under any circumstances.
Q: Is there any arrangement for depositing bags at the IIFT exam centre?
There is no arrangement for depositing bags and valuables at the IIFT exam centre. Thus, candidates must not carry anything else than IIFT admit card, photo ID, pen, face mask, hand-sanitizer and drinking water bottle. In case, they are carrying a bag or such item, they will have to make arrangement themselves of keeping it safe. Information related to items to carry and not carry will be mentioned in every candidate's admit card. They should read all the exam related instructions and guidelines printed on the IIFT admit card one or two days before the IIFT exam.
Q: Can I change my exam centre after the IIFT admit card has been released?
No, the candidates cannot change their exam centres after the IIFT admit card has been released. They cannot appear for the exam at any other test centre other than the one mentioned on their admit card either. If they try to do so, they will be disqualified. So, candidates should download the admit card as soon as it is released and check the exam centre location. They must make prior arrangements of travel and reaching exam centre on time on the exam day.
When filling the IIFT application form, they must take utmost care in choosing test city preferences. They must choose their city of residence as the first option so that they are alloted a test centre in the same city. Filling the IIFT application form at the earliest will put them in a better position of getting the centre in the test city of their choice.

Q: Can I carry a calculator to the IIFT exam hall?
No, candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic gadget to the IIFT exam centre. This is to prevent cheating or any kind of malpractice by any candidate. For the assistance of candidates an onscreen calculator will be present on the computer screen and pen and paper for rough work will be provided inside the exam hall. Candidates can use the rough sheet and pen for calculation and leave them at the test lab before exiting. However, the best practice is to use mental calculation for saving time as IIFT is a time bound test and you have to attempt about 100 questions in 2.5 hours.
Q: What is the reporting time at IIFT exam?
Reporting time for IIFT exam is mentioned on each candidate's admit card. Until last year, the IIFT exam was held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. And the reporting time for candidates was 8:00 AM. The reporting time is two hours before the commencement of exam because the test centre staff has to conduct candidate identification and document verification. The exam centre gates will close half and hour before commencement of exam. Candidates reaching the exam centre after the gates have been closed will not be allowed entry under any circumstances.
Errors in IIFT Admit Card
Candidates must check all the details mentioned on the IIFT admit card as soon as they have downloaded it. The following information must be correct on each candidate’s admit card.
