MU-BAAT 2025 selection process will be a 4 step procedure for admission to the MBA programme of Masters' Union. Candidates aspiring to take admission to Masters' Union MBA programme must complete the admission process by fulfilling the eligibility criteria and appearing for the MU-BAAT exam 2025. As per the important dates of MU-BAAT 2025, an interview round will be scheduled in February 2025 for phase 1.

Q:   When are MU BAAT results announced?

A:

MU BAAT result 2025 will be announced soon after the exam is conducted. Only candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to check their scores. Candidates will be sent their MU BAAT result on their registered email ID or phone number. Candidates must click on the link provided to view the result. On the basis of the MU BAAT results candidates will be shortlisted for the interview rounds whcih will be conducted soon after the declaration of results. 

MU BAAT selection process rounds are expected to be held in February 2025 and April 2025 for phase 1 and phase 2 respectively.

Step 1: Complete the online MU BAAT 2025 application form, including attaching two essays and supplementary information.

Step 2: Appear for the MU-BAAT admission test 2025, which consists of four sections to assess the candidate's ability in reading data, analyzing data, understanding the English language, and showcasing unique thought processes.

Step 3: Schedule an in-person interview with the panel of prominent Masters from industry and academia.

Step 4: Admission decision will be made upon receiving feedback from the panel, and the offer letter will be sent to the selected candidates via email. The admission process takes approximately four weeks from the commencement of the application form.

MU-BAAT Selection Process 2025

Step 1- Complete the online application form

Candidates must fill the MU-BAAT application form along with the documents required to complete the process. Along with the documents candidates will be required to attach the following:
  • 2 Essays in response to the following questions:
    • If you had $100 Million to acquire a company, which one would you acquire and why? (Mandatory textual essay; word limit: 300-500)
    • Tell us about one experience or incident that fundamentally changed your life. (Optional video essay; Not longer than 2 minutes)
  • Supplementary information
    • if there is anything else that you think the admissions committee should know about, feel free to share it in the form of a portfolio, essay or video.

Step 2- Appear for the MU-BAAT Admission Test

Masters' Union conducts MU-BAAT for 90 minutes duration. The question paper will consist of a total of four sections which will assess the candidate's ability based on:

  • candidate’s ability to read data presented in different formats
  • candidate’s ability to analyze and assess data
  • candidate’s ability to read and understand the English language.
  • candidate’s unique thought process and problem-solving approach

Step 3- Schedule Interview

The shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person interview. The interview panel will consist of prominent Masters from industry and academics. The interview will be conducted at the Gurugram campus. 

Step 4- Admission Decision

Upon receiving feedback from the panel, the admission office will review the application form of the candidate and will make the final call. Candidates will receive the offer letter via email. The admission process will take up to 4 weeks from the commencement of the application form.

Q:   Is MU BAAT cut off released?

A:

No, Masters' Union does not release the MU BAAT cut off for admission to its PG programme in Technology and Business Management (PGP-TBM). As per the MU BAAT selection process, candidate is granted admission to PGP-TBM on the basis of the following factors:

  • Academic and professional experiences
  • Essay writing
  • MU BAAT exam score, and
  • Interview performance.

To get admission to Masters' Union MBA programme, candidates must ensure to take MU BAAT examination. Also, candidates can take admission with the GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE or CAT scores.

Yes, candidates with a valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT score do not need to take the MU-BAAT (Masters’ Union Business Aptitude Test). They can use their valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT scores as an alternative to MU-BAAT for the admission process.

This means that candidates can have a valid score in GMAT, GRE, or CAT that meets the admission criteria for the PGP-TBM programme at Masters’ Union, candidates can submit those scores instead of taking MU-BAAT. MU BAAT results 2025 will be announced soon after the MU BAAT 2025 is conducted. Candidates who will qualify the MU BAAT exam will be shortlisted for the interview rounds. Q:   What is the validity of MU BAAT score?

A:

Masters’ Union- Business Aptitude and Admissions Test (MU-BAAT) scores are valid for the valid for the year in which the test is taken. The criteria stays same for the Common Admission Test (CAT). However, the validity of the scores such as GMAT/GMAT Focus or GRE stays as long as they have their validity period. Candidates having no CAT/GMAT/GRE scores must appear for the MU BAAT exam. 

MU BAAT 2025 exam notification will be released online. MU BAAT 2025 will be held in three rounds. MU BAAT 2025 first round is expected to be held in third week of December 2024. The second round will be held tentatively in last week of January 2025 and the dates for round 3 will be announced.

Masters’ Union- Business Aptitude and Admissions Test (MU-BAAT) is conducted in three rounds every year. Candidates can choose to appear for the MU BAAT exam round as per their preference. Earlier MU BAAT 2024 notification was released online. As per the notification, MU BAAT 2025 will be conducted in three rounds. MU BAAT 2025 round 1 will be scheduled to be held in third week of December 2024. Round 2 will be held in last week of January 2025 whereas, the MU BAAT 2025 round 3 will be held in last week of March 2025.  

MU BAAT is an entry level exam for PG programme in Technology and Business Management. It is a full time programme offered for a duration of 16 months. Candidates willing to appear for MU BAAT 2025 must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria to avoid any disqualifications.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for MU BAAT?

Candidates desiring to appear for MU-BAAT exam must ensure to fulfill the below prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates failing to meet the MU BAAT eligibility criteria will not be able to participate in the admission process:

  1. Academic Qualification:

    • Candidates applying for MU-BAAT must have a Bachelor’s or Undergraduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised institution.
  2. Work Experience (Preferred but Not Mandatory):

    • While work experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates with 0 to 5 years of work experience are eligible to apply for MU-BAAT. This means that both fresh graduates and individuals with some work experience can take the exam.

Q:   Is there any age limit to apply for MU-BAAT?

No, there is no age limit to apply for MU-BAAT. As per the MU BAAT eligibility criteria, candidates can apply for the programme without any age barrier. Candidates must have excellent career record, examination scores and leadership potential to become eligible for the PGP-TBM programme. Candidates having twoto five years of experience is ideal. However, it is not mandatory to have work experience for admission.

Q:   Is MU BAAT exam offline or online?

A:

The MU-BAAT exam is conducted online, and candidates must fill out the application form online as well. The exam will be held in online mode, and registered candidates will be sent the date and time for the examination on their registered email address/mobile number.

However, if there are any technical issues, candidates can contact the support team for assistance. It is important to note that no offline application form will be accepted, and candidates must fill out the form online only.

Q:   Is it compulsory to appear for MU BAAT?

A:

No, It is not compulsory to appear for MU BAAT for admission to PGP TBM programme of Masters' Union. Candidates having valid score in GMAT, GRE or CAT will be exempted from taking MU BAAT process. Such candidates will be shortlisted for interview rounds basis on the score obtained in GMAT, GRE or CAT examination. 

However, if a candidate feels that his/her score in GMAT, GRE and CAT is not competitive enough, they can opt to take MU BAAT exam. MU BAAT 2025 will be held in three phases. The first phase of MU BAAT will be held tentatively in last week of January and second phase in last week of March 2025.
