Q:   What is the CUET exam duration for each subject?

As per the CUET exam pattern, the subjects are divided into three sections as:

Section IA and IB- Languages 

Section II- Domain Subject

Section III- General Test

Candidates will get 45 minutes for each subject. However, in subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry and Mathematics / Applied Mathematics and General Test, the duration of the exam will be 60 minutes. Candidates can choose any 10 subjects while filling the CUET application form. However, they must check the eligibility criteria of the university and programme they wish to apply for.

Q:   Can I get admission to B Pharmacy course after completing 10+2 in non-medical stream?

Yes, it's possible to pursue a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) course after completing Class 12 in a non-medical stream. While some universities or colleges may prefer candidates who have studied Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), including Mathematics in their Class 12 curriculum, certain institutions might consider candidates from non-medical streams for admission to B Pharm programs.

Q:   Can a B Pharmacy course graduate be called a Doctor?

A: 

Unfortunately, one cannot become a doctor after graduating from B Pharmacy. Because Pharmacy is not synonymous with being a Doctor. One must first complete an MBBS, BDS, or Ayush Doctor programme before one becomes a doctor. BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and additional minimum education certification requirements exist.  

To become a doctor, candidates must pursue MBBS. Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery is the full form of MBBS. An MBBS degree is a four-year undergraduate programme for students who desire to pursue their dream of becoming doctors. It is a Medical Science professional degree. The MBBS programme consists of five years of study in 19 Medical courses, followed by six months of internship.

The NEET is used to assess MBBS admission eligibility. Students must be over the age of 17 and have finished Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects to be eligible for the NEET. Students will be qualified as medical practitioners or doctors after completing the MBBS course and receiving their degree.
