CA Foundation and Inter Registration January 2025 Started; Check Important Guidelines
The ICAI has started registration process for CA Foundation and CA Intermediate January 2025 exams. Candidates who are eligible for January 2025 session can fill the CA exam form at the Self Service Portal (SSP) of the ICAI.

Registration process for CA Foundation and CA Intermediate exams January 2025 has started. The exam form is available at the Self Service Portal (SSP) of the ICAI. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of the CA Foundation and CA Inter January 2025 exam session, can fill the online form. The CA exam registration last date is November 23, 2024 without late fee and November 26, 2024 with late fee. The form correction window will be opened from November 27 to November 29, 2024.
Before applying, candidates of the January 2025 exams are advised to check their status at the Self Service Portal (SSP). They must ensure they have a valid login credentials on SPP or create the same at https://eservices.icai.org/

Before filling the CA Foundation and CA Inter exam form please check following:
- Candidates are required to have valid login credentials on SSP.
- Candidates must also have valid course registration.
- In case of lapsed course registration, candidates are required to convert on SSP.
4. For Conversion, candidate whose course code in their dashboard is not as under have to convert to new course before filling the January 2024 exam form. 2025

- Go to Student Functions- -> Student Module -->Course Registration--> Apply for Conversion Convert Old to New Course
5. Candidates whose photo and signature are not uploaded or those who wish to upload better quality ones, can do the same on the SSP before filling up the exam form.
Eligibility for CA Foundation and CA Inter January 2025 exams:
CA Foundation Course:
- Candidate should be registered in Foundation Course on or before September 1, 2024.
- Candidate is converted to from CPT to Foundation as on the date of filling the exam form
- Candidate must have either appeared or passed in Class 12 from a recognized Board. Their Class 12 admit card or marksheet must be uploaded in SSP
CA Intermediate Eligibility criteria:
For appearing in CA Intermediate exam January 2025, the eligibility requirement is 8-month study course as on January 1, 2025) i.e. Registered on or before Cut-off date, May 1, 2024.
Q: What is the mode of application submission for CA exams?
The application form submission mode for CA exams is online. Candidates have to fill and submit ICAI CA exam forms on the official website of the exam agency only. The ICAI does not host the exam form at any other website. Candidates must avoid filling the exam form through any other means or platform to prevent fraud. The CA exam forms are available only at icai.org or icaiexam.icai.org websites. There is no provision to submit the forms online either. Candidates have to fill the form by creation a login ID. The login ID created for first time registration can be used for all further activities related to the CA course.
Q: Can I fill in the CA form partly and complete it later?
Yes, candidates can fill the CA form partly before and complete it later but they must ensure to complete the form filling and submission process before the last date so that their application is accepted. The ICAI provides late fee submission facility to candidates for a week, however candidates should submit the form at the earliest, to avoid paying the late fee. Until the ICAI CA exam form is submitted and fee amount is paid, the form will remain incomplete. Thus, candidates must comply by the registration deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam.
Q: What is the fees for CA Intermediate exam?
The fees for CA Intermediate/ Intermediate (IPC) (Old and New Schemes) is INR 1,500 for single group and INR 2,700 for both groups, to be paid at the time of form submission. Candidates must pay the fee before deadline of form submission to avoid penalty of late fee (INR 600). The fee is non-refundable. The fee payment is to be done through credit card, debit card or net banking. Unless the fee is paid, the course or exam application form will not be submitted. Candidate will receive acknowledgement in mail upon successful transaction.
