CMA December 2022 Registration: Last Few Hours Left!

ICAI will close the CMA registration window to apply for the December 2022 exam today, August 12. Post which candidates can apply for the June 2023 term.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), conducting body of CMA exam, was to close the CMA registration window for December 2022 term exams on July 31. Initially, the CMA application form submission was extended to August 10. Later, ICAI extended the window to August 12. Candidates who are yet to apply might miss the last chance to apply under the CMA 2016 syllabus. After today, candidates applying for the June 2023 term will have to take the exam designed as per CMA syllabus 2022.

CMA Eligibility Criteria 2022

Before applying for the CMA December 2022 exams, candidates must check the level-wise eligibility criteria. The space below mentions the CMA eligibility conditions:

CMA Foundation Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed Class 10 are eligible to apply for the course or admission to the course. However, they must submit Class 12 marksheet within 3 years of admission. However, the candidates are only allowed to appear for the CMA foundation exam after passing the Class 12 exams.

CMA Intermediate Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the CMA Foundation exam are eligible to apply for the CMA Intermediate exam. Apart from qualifying the CMA foundation exam, candidates who have any of the following qualifications are also eligible:

• Holds bachelor’s degree
• Passed CAT Level - 1
• Passed CA IPCC Inter
• Passed CS Foundation
• Passed Post Graduation
• Passed Doctoral
• Passed ICSI
• Passed CIMA
• Passed CA
• Passed ACCA

CMA Final Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the CMA Intermediate exam are eligible to apply for the CMA Final exam.

CMA Registration Fee 2022

Candidates applying for the CMA exam have to pay the fees as per the course level. The registration fee for all three CMA course levels are as follows:

• Foundation: INR 6,000
• Intermediate: INR 23,100
• Final: INR 25,000

Candidates applying for CMA Intermediate and CMA Final exams can pay the fee in two installments as prescribed by the ICAI.
