ICAI CA Foundation May 2022 exams rescheduled
The ICAI has rescheduled the CA Foundation exams of May 2022 phase to avoid clash with CBSE SSCE Term II (2021-22) or CISCE, Semester 2 exams scheduled during the same period. The CA Foundation May exams were scheduled on May 23, 25, 27 and 29. The exams will now be conducted in June.
The ICAI shared the official announcement of rescheduling of the ICAI CA Foundation exams on twitter, saying, “In order to mitigate the hardships of those students who are appearing in above Exams as well as in either of CBSE SSCE Term II(2021-22) or CISCE, Semester 2, 2022."
ICAI CA Foundation Exams Rescheduled to June 2022
The official notice says, “The Institute vide its Announcement No. 13-CA (Exams)/M/2022 dated January 21, 2022 announced the schedule of Chartered Accountants May 2022 Examinations. Among other examinations, Foundation Examination, May 2022 are to be held on May 23, 25, 27 and 29, 2022. Now the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) – Senior School Certificate Examination, Term II (2021- 2022) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), Semester 2, Year 2022 have announced their schedule of Senior School Certificate Examinations which are to be held during this period. To mitigate the hardship of the students who are sitting in the aforementioned examinations and simultaneously pursuing Chartered Accountants Foundation Course Examination, May 2022, it has been decided to re-schedule the dates of Foundation Course Examination, May 2022”.

There is no change in the schedule of CA Intermediate, CA Final or other exams. Registration process for May 2022 phase CA exams is currently underway with late fees. The application submission window will close on March 20, 11:50 PM.
