AIIMS Bhubaneswar invites applications for contractual State Project Co-ordinator

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar has invited applications for the post of State Project Co-ordinator for the project titled “WASH in Health – ASMITA Project” funded by UNICEF Odisha. The tenure of the post is four months.

The overall purpose of the post is to support the National Health Mission (NHM) in developing the capacities of Health care staff for the assessment and improvement of WASH in Health. The key tasks will be coordinating with NHM at the state and district level (2 aspirational districts) and supporting improvement on WASH compliance in Health Care in line with Kayakalp/ Swachh Swasth Sarvatra (SSS).

The duty station for the state project coordinator will be Bhubaneswar, Odisha, with frequent visits to 2 districts within Odisha (Kalahandi and Gajapati).

Interested candidates may apply by sending the duly filled application form to e-mail Id: patrobinod@aiimsbhubaneswar.edu.in by 12 noon of July 20, 2022. Short-listed candidates shall appear for a personal/online interview on July 22, 2022.

The notification reads, "These are tenure vacancies under funded project and are not employment from AIIMS Bhubaneswar pay roll. Employment will automatically terminate upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS, Bhubaneswar or Principal investigator Also, the candidate has no right to claim permanent employment based on this job."

Eligibility Criteria

The essential qualification required is a Master’s in Public health with two years of post-qualification experience in implementing the Public Health Program/ Water Sanitation Hygiene Program and the desirable qualification is experienced as independently responsible in implementing a government flagship program. The proposed salary is INR 50,000 per month and the age limit is 50 years.
