AIIMS Jodhpur, Microsoft India ink MoU to set up Mixed Reality Healthcare Lab

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Jodhpur has signed an MoU with Microsoft India for digital innovation in medical education and research and healthcare services.

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Jodhpur and Microsoft India have collaborated by singing MoU to establish Mixed Reality Healthcare Lab at AIIMS Jodhpur.

AIIMS Jodhpur's tweet reads, "Taking Medical education & public healthcare to next higher level, AIIMSJodhpur & @MicrosoftIndia have joined hands with MoU to set up #MixedReality Healthcare Lab. Lauding efforts, @gssjodhpur said it is going to transform healthcare in line with the PM’s Digital India vision."

 

The alliance will go a long way, says MP from Jodhpur

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India and MP Lok Sabha from Jodhpur said, "Very excited to see AIIMS Jodhpur take the initiative of introducing digital innovation in healthcare by tying up with Microsoft India."

He tweeted, "This partnership will go a long way in accelerating the use of digital innovation and technology in healthcare, which is in line with PM @narendramodi Ji's vision of #DigitalIndia."

"This collaboration between AIIMS Jodhpur and Microsoft India has the potential to transform the healthcare delivery landscape. It will also provide medical students with an opportunity to experience working in a mixed reality lab," he added.

Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog, GOI, said, "Fascinating presentation on mixed reality technology and hand free precise work using HoloLens by Ruben Caballero, CVP Mixed Reality, Microsoft & his team. Discussed its impact on health & education outcomes & agriculture productivity."
