Students will be given a maximum of seven days grace period to vacate. Once the grace period is over a penalty of INR 2,500 per day will be charged for the next seven days. Subsequently, a penalty of INR 21,000 per day will be charged till they vacate the hostel/room.
AIIMS Patna directs students to vacate hostels after completion of course
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has asked undergraduate and postgraduate students to vacate the hostel rooms upon completion of their course. As per the official notification released by AIIMS Patna, after completion of the course/tenure, students will have to vacate the hostel/room.
It must be noted that AIIMS UG Medical courses are for five and a half years and PG Medical is for three years. As per the notice, students will be given a maximum of seven days grace period to vacate. Once the grace period is over a penalty of INR 2,500 per day will be charged for the next seven days. Subsequently, a penalty of INR 21,000 per day will be charged till they vacate the hostel/room.
AIIMS provides hostel facilities to both UG and PG students. Most of the hostels have designated common rooms for watching television. In addition, the hostel has a playground, a floodlit volleyball, basketball court, tennis court, gymnasium and an excellent eight-line swimming pool is also available.
AIIMS enrolls students into UG and PG courses through NEET scores. Once students submit their NEET score, they have to attend an open counselling session. Once the counselling process is over, the NEET score and counselling scores are used to determine who will be granted admission to the AIIMS.
