All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has invited online applications for the post of Senior Residents under Residency Scheme for three years tenure.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna is hiring Senior Residents under Residency Scheme for three years tenure. The last date to fill out the online application is August 14, 2022.

The pay scale for the post is INR 67,700 as per 7th CPC, Level – 11 of the Matrix + NPA plus usual allowances as admissible.

To apply for this post, the candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh or equivalent in the above department recognised by MCI/NMC/NBE.

The upper age limit is 45 years. The age limit relaxation for SC/ST candidates is up to 5 years and for OBC candidates, it is 3 years. For PwBD candidates, age relaxation is up to 5 years for General Category, 8 years for the OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates.

The admit card will be released on August 16 on AIIMS Patna's official website www.aiimspatna.edu.in and the examination will be conducted on August 23 between 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. However, the candidates must report between 9:30 am to 10:30 am on the exam date. The result of the examination will be declared on the same day and on August 24, the interview will be conducted.

Application fee for General/OBC Category is INR 1500 + transaction charges as applicable and for Women/SC/ST/EWS Category, it is INR 1200 + transaction charges as applicable and PwBD candidate is exempted from any fee.

"Application fee is required to be remitted online only. Any other instrument of payment is not acceptable. Also, make sure to get the confirmation of the successful remittance by your bank and retain the proof of the same which may be required at the time of document verification. The application fee is non-refundable," says the official notification.
