AIIMS Patna: MBBS students must fulfil 75% attendance for Professional Examinations
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has notified that all MBBS students must attend their classes to have 75% attendance to be eligible for the professional examination.
Through a circular, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has notified that all MBBS students are required to attend their respective lectures, foundation course, practical, tutorial and clinical posting so that they can fulfil the required attendance of 75% in each category of teaching modality to become eligible for professional examinations.
"If the required attendance is not fulfilled by the students, they can't appear in their respective professional examinations," reads the circular.
Directions to the HoDs
The circular directed the HoDs to follow:
- Concerned HoDs are requested to display monthly attendance on their Department's Notice Board.
- Concerned HoDs are requested to send attendance to Dean (Academics) Office on a quarterly basis. If the attendance is below 50%, an email to the concerned parent/guardian will be sent from this office.
- After the Pre Prof, concerned HoDs are requested to send attendance of complete professionals in each modality to the Dean (Exams)/Examination Section and a copy of the same to the Dean (Academics). The Dean (Exams)/Examination Section after the scrutiny of attendance, will publish a provisional list of students eligible to appear in the professional examination. Students having attendance less than 75% will be detained from the professional examination.
Admissions open for PDCC
AIIMS Patna has invited the online application for the entrance exam for admission in the post-doctoral certificate course (PDCC) July 2022 session. The candidates can apply latest by June 25 at www.aiimspatna.edu.in.
