All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) Raipur and AIIMS Patna have observed the World Hearing Day 2022 today on March 3, 2022.

World Hearing Day 2022

World Hearing Day is observed on March 3 by the World Health Organization (WHO). The day is observed to increase awareness about how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care across the world. All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) Raipur and AIIMS Patna have observed the World Hearing Day 2022 today.

AIIMS Raipur's tweet reads, "#WorldHearingDay2022 programs concluded in #aiims_rpr with a message 'to hear for life, listen with care.' The program included a webinar, ENT Camp in two schools, a skit, and a poster presentation along with prize distribution."

AIIMS Patna's tweet says, "In 2022, #WorldHearingDay will focus on the importance of safe listening as a way to preserve hearing through the life cycle. With the theme "To hear for life, listen with care", #worldhearingday2022 will highlight the importance and means of preventing hearing loss through"

Protect your sense of hearing: Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health said on the occasion of World Hearing Day 2022, "Look out for symptoms of hearing disorder, get screened to protect your sense of hearing."

"It is possible to have good hearing right through ones life. Care for your ear and hearing," the Ministry added.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has addressed a program today on World Hearing Day 2022. He said, "We have gathered here to observe World Hearing Day 2022. We have 10 lakhs of workers in villages and nurses and doctors to help in this awareness program."

"The newly born babies must be screened before the age of 6 months for his/her hearing capabilities and if any issue gets detected, it is easier to treat such problems at an early age," he added.
