AMU Placements 2022: Aligarh Muslim University has recorded the placements of its engineering students. Three students of Bachelors in Technology (BTech) from Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University have been selected by M/s Climber Knowledge and Career Private Limited (MyCaptain), Bengaluru, through a campus placement drive, conducted online in coordination with the Training and Placement Office, ZHCET, an official statement released by the varsity informed.

Training and Placement Officer, Farhan Saeed said that the selected students are Syed Muratib Hussain (BTech Mechanical), Nidhi Chawla (BTech Electrical) and Nazneen Nisha (BTech Civil). The students have been hired on a package of INR 4.5 lakh per annum.

AMU BTech Placements 2022

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has a dedicated training and placement office (established in 2012), which aims to assemble job opportunities for the students and help them get placed across various national and international organisations. In the past, the TPO (Training & Placement Office) has placed the students in Social Sector, IT, Manufacturing, ITES, Media, Services, Banking & Finance and Law sectors. 

While complete details on AMU Placements 2022 are yet to be released, let us take a look at last year’s recruitment data. According to the NIRF 2022 report for AMU, the total number of placements for the UG (3-Year) programme witnessed an increment of a whopping 518% in 2021 (compared to 2020)

The median package offered to the four-year programmes in 2021 viz. Engineering, Architecture, etc. Increased by about 12.4% (compared to 2020). As compared to 2020, the total number of placements in 2021 increased by more than 27.84% for the PG 3-Year programmes, where a median package of INR 10.02 LPA was offered.
