Kerala University Admissions 2020: Registration process for Undergraduate courses begins; check details here
The University of Kerala has begum its online admission process. Students can apply for the same on or before August 17.
The University of Kerala has started the admission process to Undergraduate Programmes for the 2020-21 academic session. Kerala University is one of the top-ranked state universities in the Ministry of Human Resource Development's (MHRD) NIRF 2020 Ranking. The Kerala University Admissions 2020 registration process has begun on July 21 on its official website. Students seeking admission in the varsity can complete the registration process at admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in. Students can apply on or before Apply on or before August 17.
The University of Kerala will be conducting a trial allotment on August 12, just before ending its registration process. The first allotment process will be conducted on August 18, as per the varsity. Those who have got the seats in colleges and courses will have to complete the admission process by paying a fee. Students can pay a fee or rearrange or delete higher options from August 18 to August 23.
The second allotment list will be conducted on August 24 followed by a fee payment window until September 4. No further allotment lists will be released, as per the latest schedule. However, the date of the reopening of college has not been released so far by the varsity.
As per the University of Kerala prospectus, all the Undergraduate courses except B.P.Ed and BFA are known as first-degree programmes. Admission to these programmes is based on Online Centralised Allotment. The process will provide the candidates the opportunity of obtaining admission to any colleges or courses of choice. Seats will be allotted to students on the basis of merit of marks obtained in Class 12 Board Exams.
Students who are seeking admission to all courses offered in National Institute of Speech & Hearing, Thiruvananthapuram (NISH), Bishop Moore College of Hearing Impaired, Manakala, Adoor, BFA, BPEd, and BPA, have to fill the form, however, there will be no allotment and candidates will be shortlisted based on an entrance exam.
Those seeking admission for BA Music must note that they have to submit their application directly to the respective college(s) they wish to get admission in and selection will be held based on Aptitude Test.
