AYUSH Ministry makes efforts to introduce Ayurveda to African countries
We have developed collaborative research work with 50 countries and in African countries, we are putting our efforts, said Union Minister of AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal.
After the Covid-19 pandemic has hit the world, now the Indian medicine system is more accepted worldwide and India is making all efforts to grow the ancient science further through initiatives taken under the AYUSH Ministry.
Union Minister of AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal has tweeted, "The @moayush under the able leadership of Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji is taking lots of initiatives for the promotion and development of Ayush. So far, we are having collaborative research with 50 countries and also putting our efforts in Africa."
"Whatever traditional system of medicine in India has been around for centuries. This is now becoming a very important kind of medicine for well being of mankind and also this is giving a lot of strength to the health of the society. The products of Ayurveda, Yoga and another system of AYUSH have contributed greatly to the preservation of human health and also for boosting immunity. I do firmly believe whatever way it is gaining its popularity and also creating credibility, trust among the people of the world and I believe in near future it will definitely play a big role for the betterment of health," he added, as reported by Medical Dialogues.
Latest initiative by Ministry of Ayush
The AYUSH Ministry has collaborated with the Tripura government to build 50 Ayush Health & Wellness Centres in the state and a new 50 bed Ayush Integrated Hospital.
Sarbananda Sonowal had tweeted, "Adding to the Ayush sector, @moayush will support Tripura Govt in building 50 Ayush Health & Wellness Centres in the state. A new 50 Bed Ayush Integrated Hospital will also be built in Tripura."
