Candidates who have applied for the SET 2021 exam have to appear for the Dry Run Check (DRC) process. The DRC process started on July 3, 2021, and today is the last date to complete the process. It is mandatory for all the candidates who wish to appear for the SET 2021. Candidates who have booked their slots for the SET 2021 online proctored exam, would have received the login credentials for the DRC process on their registered email ID. The slots for the actual SET exam and DRC are interlinked, i.e. if the applicant has booked the 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM slot for SET online proctored exam, they will have to appear for the DRC in the same time slot. Instructions for Slot Booking, IRC and DRC

  • As mentioned above, students must note that the slot booking for the actual test and the DRC are interlinked. This means that if a student books a slot for the actual test from 3:00 PM-4:45 PM then he/she will automatically be given the DRC from 3:00 PM - 4:45 PM.
  • Applicants will receive a confirmation mail once their slots have been booked on their registered email ID
  • DRC is being conducted to help the students understand the process and functionalities of the exam application and for a hassle-free exam experience of the exam for the candidates
  • DRC slot cannot be changed from the one allotted to the student/s which is based on their choice
  • It is very important to get the IRC done before appearing for the exam to avoid any issue during DRC or the actual exam. IRC is conducted to check the readiness of the laptop and desktop which will be used during the online proctored exam.
  • Students must know that once they have booked their slots for the SET exam, they will be able to download their SET admit cards
  • Applicants must take a printout of the SET admit card and affix their latest passport size photograph on it

Instructions for SET Online Exam 

Candidates appearing for the SET online proctored exam must keep the following instructions in mind:

  • Choose only one slot for the SET exam 2021
  • Registration for SET will start two hours before the exam. The registration process (including clicking your photograph) is mandatory. These photographs will be used for Face Comparison during the SET exam.
  • The exam portal will be activated only five minutes before the commencement of SET exam
  • Use a laptop or desktop with good internet connectivity and speed
  • Be seated in front of the screen at all times as the screen will be recorded
  • After giving the SET exam, candidates will have to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT)
  • Adhere to sectional timings and the test has to be taken chronologically
  • The 'End Test' button will appear in an active mode in the last question of the last section only and will close the exam
