According to the notification on the official website of SIU, SET (B) will also be conducted in Internet-based test mode (IBT) from July 26 to July 29. SET 2020 was earlier scheduled to be conducted on July 19 in computer-based test mode but looking at the prevailing situation in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the exam authority decided to conduct the exam in IBT mode like SET (A). SET exam will be conducted in an online proctored mode using Human Proctoring and AI. The complete exam schedule has been revised for SET (B). Read the article below to know more.

Pre-Exam Instructions
Keeping in mind the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country, SIU decided to conduct SET in IBT mode so that the candidates can take the exam from the safe environment of their homes. To ensure smooth conduction of the SET exam, SIU has decided to take out a three-step process to ensure the right configuration of the candidates' systems. The three-step process includes:
- Infrastructure Readiness Check (IRC)
- Data Quality Check (DQC)
- Exam Day Run Check (DRC)

SET Internet-Based Test Mode Instructions
Due to COVID-19 situation, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has decided to conduct SET 2020 (B) also in online proctored mode. Read the IBT-mode instructions below that must be followed by the candidates during the exam.
- Applicants must use a system which has Windows 7,8, 10 or Ubuntu LINUX (14.1 and 16) with good internet connectivity and speed
- The laptop must be connected to a power source throughout the SET exam
- The system which is being used must have at least 4GB RAM and minimum 100MB free space
- Aspirants cannot use any electronic gadget during the exam other than a mobile phone with the registered mobile number
- They must take the exam in smart casuals or formals and sit in a well-lit area where their face is clearly visible
- No application or web page should be opened during the exam
- Video and images will be recorded and supervised in real-time by Human Proctor and AI, hence, students must not leave their seats throughout the exam
