Bihar Board Exams 2022: Health department to vaccinate board students by Jan 26

According to BSEB board exam dates released by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), the exams for Bihar 12^th students would commence from February 1 and conclude on February 14 while BSEB Class 10 exam will begin from February 17 and conclude on February 24.

BSEB Board Exams 2022: Bihar health department has geared up the process of jabbing students who are likely to appear for BSEB 10^th, 12^th Board Exams 2022. It is likely, the department would complete the COVID-19 vaccination process for such students before January 26 as the board examination season is approaching closer.

According to a letter issued by the health department to all district magistrates (DMs) and civil surgeons, the directions have been released for constituting a task force for inoculating board students in the age group of 15 to 18 years on a priority basis.

Nearly 32 lakh students have registered to appear for Class 12 and Class 10 exams across different education boards.

Pratyay Amrit, additional chief secretary of health department told HT, “State-wide drive for vaccinating adolescents between 15-18 years of age is already going on. As a large number of students are expected to participate in the state board exams and other education board exams in the coming months, we aim to vaccinate all students falling in the eligible age category before January 26 for the health safety of students.”

He further added, “We have asked DMs to constitute district-level and block-level task force for achieving the target. Such schools which will achieve cent percent vaccination during the special drive will be feted on the occasion of Republic Day”.

According to BSEB 12^th exam dates released by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), the board exams for Bihar 12^th students would commence from February 1 and conclude on February 14 while the Class 10 exam will begin from February 17 and conclude on February 24. More than 29 lakh students have registered to appear for the state board exam. Similarly, around 2 lakh students are likely to appear in the CBSE board exam from the Patna zone (comprising Bihar and Jharkhand) and 18,000 students would appear in the board exam conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
