The Assam Education Minister denied the rumors of the SEBA HSLC geography question paper leak. As per the previously announced SEBA HSLC new routine 2023, the board will conduct the SEBA HSLC Geography exam today. The board has been investigating all the suspects involved in the paper leak this year.
Assam SEBA HSLC exams paper leak row: Rumour of SEBA HSLC Geography question paper leak is found to be fake, as per the government of Assam. The Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has denied the news of another paper leak of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam HSLC exams 2023.
On Twitter, he clarified the news about the HSLC Geography question paper being leaked is fake and the images of the question paper being circulated on social media are also fake. He twitted “The Geography Question Paper circulated in social media allegedly of the leak is fake. SEBA authority has confirmed that it is fake. Instructed concerned officer to lodge FIR in Police station”.
Assam state chief minister also condemned the rumors of the Assam class 10 Geography question paper leak and also twitted that the matter of fake news will be dealt with by the Assam Police.
“It appears that certain groups of people are attempting to disrupt the entire atmosphere by fabricating false leaks of the High School Leaving Certificate exam papers. Assam Police will investigate the matter to ascertain the identities of the groups and take appropriate actions”, the state chief minister twitted.
This year, the board has already faced two instances of SEBA HSLC exam papers leak. Since then, the state police have been investigating all the suspects involved in the paper leak this year. A few days back, the board cancelled the SEBA HSLC General Science paper after news claiming the question paper was sold on WhatsApp. Thereafter, the board has also cancelled the Assamese exam 2023 HSLC for the same reason. The board has rescheduled the Assamese exam 2023 HSLC to be held on April 1.
