BSE Odisha 10th Exams 2023: Education Minister denies claims of Class 10th Mathematics Paper leak

The Odisha Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash has denied all allegations of BSE Odisha Class 10 exam Mathematics paper leak. Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has concluded the BSE Odisha 10th Exams 2023 yesterday, March 20, 2023. The opposition leaders urged for the resignation of the Education Minister of Odisha over the alleged paper leak for the BSE Odisha Class 10 Mathematics exam.

The minister Samir Ranjan Dash stated that the board, BSE Odisha, was not informed about any paper leaks and the rumours are fake. According to the Minister of School and Mass Education, the department has no knowledge of any question paper leaks. In addition, the opposition accused Samir Ranjan Dash of "misleading" the house after the leaders claimed that paper leaks had gone viral on WhatsApp and social media.

In addition to the suspected paper leaks, many students claimed that Set A questions were found in the Set B papers during the BSE Odisha Social Science exam. Apart from this, there were 19 questions missing from the set. In response to this, the Odisha education minister stated that the board has already provided a clarification to students regarding this. “The Board of Secondary Education had already clarified that there were some printing errors in the question papers. The students need not worry as their concern will be addressed during evaluation,” said Samir Ranjan Dash.

Yesterday, the BSE Odisha President Ramashish Hazra tole media “Keeping in view such issues, we will re-fix the programme for the evaluation of OMR sheets and there is no need to conduct the examination again. The Board will fix up a formula and the entire evaluation will be done accordingly,”
