A. My family consists of my parents, my grandmother, my brother and My grandmother is a retired government official, my mother worked in the Israel Embassy for some time but presently she is a homemaker and writer. My father is self-employed.
Q. Please tell about your favourite subject and the subject in which you scored the highest. How much did you score?
A. My favourite subjects are languages and science. I am passionate about learning languages and I love the practicality of science. I scored highest in French and English, i. e., 100 marks in both.
Q. What was your strategy to score above 90%.?
A. Before the onset of the exam season, everyone advised me to just cover up NCERT, from school seniors to family elders. So, that is what I did. I did not even touch any Reference Book except for R.D. Sharma in Maths and Exemplars in science. Focusing on NCERT and taking minimal pressure was only strategy.
Q. Who encouraged you the most in this journey?
A. My parents did encourage me, but the nagging was not as much as my brother's. His everyday threats and sweet promises to get me whatever I want if I 2 score good, were enough to make me try my best. All of my teachers were a try my big support as well
Q. What was your routine during CBSE beard cram preparation?
A. I seriously think I must have been the most laidback of all my friends during the preparation period. I barely got time study 3-4 hours a day. And that too not more than half-an-hour at ence. I played holi, went out for my mother's birthday and even just to hang out sometimes. The main point was to study well for the little time that I did, with good concentration and no mental strain.
Q. What are your future plans? which path you aiming?
A. I’m not to sure about my future yet, as to what degree I would pursue. But for now I have selected Science, i.e physics, Chemistry and maths as my subjects. Right now, I just want to give my best to 11th and 12th and gradually I will think about the future.
Q. What are your expectations with CUET?
A. Honestly I did not know anything about CUET before being provoked by this question. CUET is just The Entrance Examination for Universities. I believe it is a good initiative by the Ministry of Education and I expect it would help us in finding a good University. Although it is very competitive, if I can clear the basics, CUET shouldn't be too hard.
Q. Are you preparing for CUET? Will you be going for JEE or Neet? What is the reason for choosing higher education in this stream?
A. As of now, I am not preparing for CUET or JEE, NEET is definitely not in my list. I have chosen higher ed. in this stream because I have interest in these subjects and this stream opens up a lot of opportunities, more so in the fields I'm interested in.
Q. Which stream are you targeting ?
A. I am targeting towards Non-Medical as that is what I have opted. I hope to continue with this for higher studies as well and if not, & will pursue English honours. Whatever seems as the better option.
Q. If not CUET are you planning to get into B. Tech or MBBS ? What career are you planning after your higher education?
A. I do consider B.Tech as an option for higher education. Since long, I have and I still do wish to get into the intelligence Bureau. That is the foremost career option I am looking at right now.
Q. Please share some tips for students prepping up to appear in CBSE Board Exams 2024.
A. To all my juniors, I would just like to advise to relax, sit back and focus on NCERT. Your worst enemy is mental strain and pressure so avoid it at all costs. Do not hype the Boards too much, they are just another exam (actually easier than the regular school ones).
