The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 12 History exam today, i.e. December 20, 2021 between 11:30 am and 1 pm. The board will release the CBSE Class 12 answer key 2021 for the paper soon on its official website. Till then, students can use the answer key of Class 12 History CBSE by experts here.
Students can use this answer key to calculate their probable score in History exam. The answer key of Class 12 History CBSE is given below:
CBSE Class 12 History Exam Analysis
According to reports, Class 12 students were mostly happy with the CBSE History question paper today. Some students have pointed out that quite a few questions were direct and could be found in NCERT. This, combined with the practice of History sample paper, made the solving of MCQs easy.
"I expected a tougher paper for 12th History exam as many CBSE papers have been tough but I was surprised to see an easy paper and while solving, I could trace many questions back to NCERT," shares Nishant, a student.
"The case study questions were slightly tricky and needed time. I had to re-read the questions and understand what is being asked to find the correct option. But overall, the paper was easy. I am satisfied with my attempt," shares another Class 12 student, Shreya.
CBSE 12th Term 1 History Exam Highlights
- The exam is of 1 hour 30 minutes duration. It began at 11:30 am and go on till 1 pm.
- The paper included all MCQs with no provision of negative marking.
- CBSE is holding the board exams in OMR sheets for the first time this academic session.
- Students are required to darken the correct option using a black or blue point pen only. Use of pencil is not allowed during exams.
The board is expected to release the CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 in January 2022 on the official website. Students must note that the board will not conduct any re-test or compartment exams after the Term 1 results are announced. These will be held only after the Term 2 result is released.
